What are people saying (AI review summary)? The reviews present a mixed picture of the establishment. The restaurant generally receives positive feedback for its good food, reasonable prices, and service, though some found it noisy and parking challenging during peak times. However, the golf course experience is more polarized. While some guests appreciated the nice 9-hole layout, excellent greens, and friendly staff, a significant negative experience involved rude and disrespectful members cussing at guests, with club management failing to address the issue. This created an unwelcoming atmosphere for guests and contributed to an impression of the club being 'stuck up' or rude overall.
Reviews
I came here as a guest and had one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a golf course. While playing, members actually cussed at us and told us we shouldn’t even be out there with our swings. When we went to the clubhouse to address the situation, nothing was done and we were essentially brushed off with nothing done for us or members. For a course that should value both members and guests, this was incredibly disappointing. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a welcoming or respectful golfing experience. We will now have to drive 45 plus minutes just to play a round of golf.
Food was good. Prices were reasonable. Service was good. I was expecting a better view out the windows of which there were plenty. I arrived at noon on a Friday. It was busy. Parking was difficult. The noise level (talking) was too loud for me but if you didn't have hearing problems and wanted a private conversation, it would be ideal. By the time I left at one pm, volume was down to a comfortable level and the parking lot had cleared out. I will return at an earlier or later time and see if that affects my review.
Excellent greens, nice 9 hole layout
A nice little country club in a small town. A nine-hole golf course. Not a lot of elevation changes but a very nice staff and if you can hit the ball straight you will love this course.
They seem a little stuck up and rude.
