What are people saying (AI review summary)? The reviews present a mixed but predominantly negative view of the pool. A significant past incident involved a swimmer being injured by a high diver with no staff assistance or concern, leading to lasting fear. Current complaints highlight lifeguards as poorly trained, inattentive, unprofessional, and uncaring. Some short reviews advise against visiting. Conversely, one detailed account describes a positive personal experience of learning to float with the help of a dedicated guide, and there are a couple of brief positive remarks calling the pool 'good' and an 'oldie but a goodie'.

Mom, and other mothers, arranged swimming lessons for their kids one summer. It was a big deal. I couldn't swim, was shy, and was rather hesitant to have someone watch me flounder. To enjoy the pool, a person had to join by having completed the lessons given by the pool. There were strict rules to abide by. Someone from the top ladder of the highest spring board jumped off, not looking, and landed on top of me. It knocked the wind from me, and I barely made it to the side of the pool, in 1970, something. No one came to my aid, and no one cared that it had happened. I didn't want to go back, as I was afraid. Mom told Dad. Other than that, I learned from a guide how to float in two situations; one holding air, grabbing my ankles, holding air again, then diving face first into the water. I floated like a blow fish. Then another technique, as one is not enough of anything, except God Almighty, the attendant had me try to float on my back. It is a hearty task for a nonswimmer. Eventually, I was able with the helper to roll and lay backwards, straighten my body in the process, while looking upwards to the sky. With that, I stuck my scrawny bird chest into the sky, thus extending my back, and floated effortlessly. Thank you.
The lifeguards need a lot of training, but unfortunately, it seems like they just don't care. They don't pay attention and they treat their shifts like it's a party rather than a very important responsibility.
