This place is SO much fun! Splash Summit Waterpark is the perfect family getaway. The slides are thrilling, and there’s plenty to do for kids and adults alike. We spent the whole day there and never got bored. The park was clean, lifeguards were attentive, and food was reasonably priced. I especially loved the lazy river and the wave pool — super relaxing! Can’t wait to visit again next summer. 100% worth it.
My husband has been taking the kids here for over a decade. It’s clean and safe and fun! Lots of areas for younger kids to play and swim safely. You can’t bring in food but there is a picnic area right up front where you can store your cooler and then go eat. They even have picnic tables there. Fun music at the wave pool creates a great atmosphere. And the mountain backdrop is GORGEOUS. They have everything’s from baby slides to some slides that are quite scary and thrilling. The lazy river I usually a little warmer which is nice. Tips: it’s expensive to get a day pass. If you think you’ll go even twice, get the season pass when it’s on sale on Black Friday or other times. You also need a pass for tubes and parking which are really cheap if you buy them with the season pass. There are options for parking for free but bring a wagon cause you’ll be hauling your stuff and walking for a while.
2 stars would be too harsh, 4 would be stretching it. (It's probably a 3.25-3.5). We definitely had a good time, but there's a few things to note! #1 I think it's pretty expensive for what it is. You have to pay almost $30 a ticket, and on top of that if you want to ride the tube slides it's an extra $6 a person. (We didn't bite on that, the lines were ridiculously long for those slides, and we didn't think it was worth it for the money). Also, it's important to note that they absolutely do not allow food from the outside. In fact, they check everyone's bags who comes in to see if they bring food... So many families had so many snacks taken away. (But you get a pass if you have a medical exception!) This means the only food that you can eat is their overpriced and not super great food. A small burger is $8, and they don't have a great selection, so keep that in mind. (Oh and if you don't walk, parking is an extra $10. Lots of little things that add up). #2 We didn't get a tube pass but it was still super fun! They have water slides with these mats you can use, and you can also ride some slides just with your body. These lines were shorter and so it was actually really good that we didn't buy a pass! #3 It was just really crowded. I'm normally fine with somewhat crowded places, but this was almost bonkers crowded. It's like no one has anywhere else to go, and so everyone just ends up here. The wave pool and lazy river are fun until everyone and their tubes are involved and then it was really hard to swim. #4 Just a few more things to note, no cash (crazy right, for the amount of people there?) and seating is minimal so I would recommend getting there early. The lines were also crazy long and we arrived before it opened, so you should definitely buy a ticket online to bypass those lines (we did and it was much easier). Sure, hope this helps someone, because we were a bit unsure going into it and learned a few things. Still a fun day though! Would go again if it was less expensive and less crowded.
Had a great time with the family. Great slides and tons of lifeguards. The views are beautiful. The cabana rentals come with free food delivery which was awesome. Dole whips were awesome and the pretzels were the best I've had. Overall just a great value for the cost of things.
Splash Summit is definitely our favorite water park! They have so much to choose from! Great for all ages. The wave pool and lazy river are definitely family favorites. The food here is also really good! Just be prepared to pay extra for parking and tubes but I think it's definitely worth it overall! One bad thing is it can get too busy and lines are long.
