What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews for this pool are mixed but predominantly negative. Positive aspects include its suitability for both young and older children, and its relatively shallow depth (max 4ft). However, significant concerns were raised regarding safety due to inattentive lifeguards who failed to intervene in incidents like children hitting their heads on lily pads or an infant coughing up water after going down a large slide. Cleanliness was also an issue, with reports of bugs, feathers, and leaves in the water. Furthermore, multiple reviewers experienced unprofessional and rude staff and management, citing incidents such as being told to leave due to swimwear previously approved, unhelpful responses to complaints, accusations of discrimination for splashing, and a general lack of apology or concern for negative experiences. Some reviewers strongly recommend alternative pools.

We just moved to Hobbs and have been to this pool twice so far. We will definitely come back it’s great for the little ones and bigger kids too. The water isn’t to deep only 4ft on the deeper side. I actually went today and there was a lot of bugs, feathers and leaves in the pool so hopefully they do regular cleaning. I haven’t been to any of the other pools which is really nice to have other choices we like this one.
Came here to cool off and after a hour of swimming (with the life guards looking at us and telling each other something about us, they made it totally obvious) the "manager" told us we had to get out of the pool because we didn't have the correct swimwear on. Before we changed and got into the pool we had to literally show them what we'd be changing into and they said ok you're good to go. It's just frustrating that the front staff doesn't do their job correctly and we had to leave. I doubt we'll go back. They did give me my 2 dollars back.
THIS PLACE IS TERRIBLE. kids were throwing each other off of the lily pads & kids even hit their head at the bottom of a 2 foot deep pool & the lifeguards & manager said nothing to them. we tried to go to a different area of the pool and still had the same issue. we told the girl at the front & she just said ok & never apologized. there was even a lifeguard behind her laughing while we were explaining our TERRIBLE experience which is incredibly disrespectful. Del Norte is SO much better & I highly recommend that place, the lifeguards are always on point and it’s a very nice park.
Lifeguards need to pay more attention!! A lady thought it was a good idea to let her infant go down the big slide. She was coughing up water & when lifeguard was informed neither him or the babies mother cared to call a medic! We will not be going back!
Well, if you want to get in trouble for splashing in the POOL because some lady doesn’t wanna go put her phone up this is definitely the place to go. Most WORTHLESS place I’ve ever been too. Manager, who should’ve never became a manager, was also very rude, and accused us of discrimination due to the splashing. If I could give this place 0 stars I definitely would.
