Sprawling park featuring a wave pool and lazy river, plus a petting zoo and ziplines.
Big Rivers Waterpark, part of the Grand Texas complex, generally maintains its pools at a comfortable temperature for guests by both heating and cooling them as needed. While specific degree temperatures are not publicly disclosed, the park emphasizes maintaining optimal conditions for visitor enjoyment.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? Big Rivers Water & Adventure Park offers a variety of attractions, including 'Pumpkins After Dark' and thrilling zip-lining, which are highly praised, especially for children. Many visitors recommend purchasing a season pass, calling it an excellent value. Guests appreciate the engaging activities for kids, good staff, and shorter lines for popular rides, particularly when arriving early. However, the park receives criticism for not being fully finished, with issues like stagnant water, construction debris, and long walks between attractions. Food and drinks are described as absurdly expensive, concessions are spread out and slow, and dry activities start later in the day. Without a season pass, the park is considered overpriced, despite having fun options for children.

We didn't go in for the water park, but we did get to enjoy their Pumpkins after dark. My kids loved all the amazing pumpkins they had. The price was ok also. They had rides for the kids to enjoy after the walk through all the pumpkin displays. Loved it would totally visit again.
What a fun time, the zip lining is awesome, especially for kids 10 and up. An overall fantastic fun day. Suggestion, arrive when Big Rivers water & adventure park opens. There are no lines for rides.
I would definitely buy a season pass to this place if I were you and you live nearby. It's the best $100 I've ever spent.
Gave it a 3 because facility was not completely finished. There was stagnant water going toward petting zoo area. Everything was a long walk. It was not advertised that most dry activities did not start until noon in the heat of day. The concessions were not all open and they were very spread out. It took a long time to get food. It was over priced if not season ticket holder. Great stuff for kids though. Construction trash and equipment was laid around everywhere. A plus was the lines for the couple big slides that were available were short. Racoon run for kids was awesone. Staff was really good with kids.
Absolutely love it. The kids had a blast. The only downside I can think of is that the food and drinks are absurdly expensive.
