The staff can be friendly as long as you have no complaints. Our neighbor/friend had a tree fall through their roof because of a dead tree that should have been cut down. We understand there was a storm, but the property is not being kept. We noticed lots of dead trees that could be potential problems in the future. Even though the place says its "family friendly" the smell of pot reeks in the air. There are a few people that live there full time. They made that perfectly clear. The one lady was boasting of being the longest tenant and could do what ever she wanted. They were rude and made comments about other peoples swimwear and how they parented their children. The gravel roads give obstacles to twisted ankles. The hot tub and pool were not maintained. Another couple came to get in the hot tub but the jets weren't working. They left but not before calling to see if someone would come fix them. We asked if this was normal and they replied yes, all the time. The after hours staff is rude when you do have to call them. The maintenance worker that came to help with the hole in the roof, didn't know what she was doing. When we left on Sunday the remnant branches and such were still on the ground. This was not the place we visited last year. The up keep has gone to trash and the workers seem incompetent. I will not be advocating for our group to revisit.

I have called St. Ives home for a year and a half now. Dawn and her staff are the best ever. Very attentive to any need you may have. The lazy river and pool/hot tub are so enjoyable after a long day at work. If you are looking for a family atmosphere you are coming to right place!! The spaces are huge and the staff make you feel at home!

The actual park is quite lovely and has pretty good amenities. The bathrooms could be cleaner. We didn't like the rocks and having to sweep daily. Because of the rocks the pest were atrocious. No matter how much you treat, the bugs were nonstop. The up keep on the ground is not good. There are Dead trees all over and the middle of the Lazy river has not been maintained in a long time. Management is not good. We were actually told by the after hours on call person that they were not obligated to fix things after hours, and later confirmed by management that the staff was over work and underpaid and had no obligation to fix things after hours. Being full time campers there is a certain expectation of rules, but they are arbitrarily enforced. Over all I don't think this place will thrive until management is changed.

Well, I wish I could have written a review for this place but I can't. Their website states day passes are available Monday through Sunday 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. We planned a family outing for the last day of summer before the kids go back to school. When we arrived, the office was closed. My husband called the 24/7 help line and was informed that they do not offer day passes on Sundays. Please update your website to reflect the correct availability for day passes. This is highly disappointing.

The pictures are well-positioned as the 'resort' definitely did not look like this when we were there a few weeks ago for a weekend getaway with 3 spaces for our family. The waterfall was broken, the lazy river was green, the pool fountain didn't work, the paint party was canceled, the rc track my son had been looking forward to was nice in size, but we couldn't use the platform due to the swarming wasps/hor ets, the wifi was non-existent, and let's not forget to mention the sketchy "day passers" that tried to bait my pre-teen daughter. And having to walk through the maintenance area and OUT of the security gate to take trash to the dumpster was a bit weird. The only positive was the spacious lot sizes. We chose a "nature" type rv location vs our usual beach, but finding out that the pond wasn't for fishing was a big let down.
