We have been coming here for about 4 years and love it here! So peaceful and relaxing. The last cabin we stayed in did seem to need a little bit of work but overall we had a great time.

Always have fun when we come out, the kids are excited. There's a public pool and a swim lake. The wild life is a highlight and if you want to unplug for a few days this is the place. Really amazing adventures can be had.

The rooms were sandy like the floors had not been swept. Sheets on the beds were fine. In my daughter's room where the Jacuzzi was, had worms crawling in it. The tubs were dirty in all of the bathrooms. Had a good time but cleaning the house is must.

I stayed at the Retreat for a military unit reunion. The host and staff were absolutely amazing, friendly professionals, and all of the meals were fantastic, really home style comfort food. This was the perfect setting for our gathering. I personally could not have asked for more. Thank you all for the amazing weekend!

The retreat is definitely tucked away off hwy146. This was my 1st visit there so I don't think I got to experience everything they had to offer. They do have hiking/biking trails, canoeing, lake pool and customers center. It's well managed. I enjoyed myself there. Though always remember while canoeing, you are NOT at the top of the food chain. Though I did t see any large gators only small ones.
