Reviews
I’ve been a regular customer at Leechburg Public Pool and had even been planning to purchase memberships for my family of 5. Unfortunately, an incident yesterday may have completely changed my mind about supporting this facility, which would be especially disappointing due to my children's love of this pool. While outside the pool alone, a man (who claimed to be the president of something related to the pool) attempted to have me kicked out over a brief, but admittedly heated, verbal exchange. His behavior was especially appalling, given that this is a family space and he was speaking to a female customer who was by herself in such a confrontational way. Whether he is truly in a leadership role or simply a volunteer, this type of behavior toward a paying customer is unacceptable. I value kindness, fairness, and professionalism—none of which were shown to me in this situation. Instead of investing in memberships here, I will now be checking out other pools for my family. I hope the organization takes this feedback seriously and reconsiders how its staff and volunteers treat the community.
The guards here are gross and definitely should not be allowed to work in public facilities. I was there for not even 20 minutes with my kids till I said let’s get the hell out of here. The first gaurd they had on the chair was very clearly not paying attention and was spiting off the chair into the pool. The kid on the chair must be brand new because I have been to the pool many times and have never seen him. Not to mention the guards in the guard house were very rude. I also over heard a phone conversation between the guards and what sounded to be a lady talking about a guard not being certified. I really wouldn’t doubt it. The leechburg pool lost a great customer today. Do better leechburg pool. Editing my review because I have found out who the lifeguard was that is not certified his name is Andrew. As heard from a friend that still goes to the pool he still works there.
Very clean pool and the shower room was pretty well clean! Nice picnic tables to sit and eat on! Great Snack bar!!
The place was great. The locker rooms were clean. The pool was very clean, the lifeguard was very attractive. They made sure the kids didn't get too wild. We rented a pavilion and it was clean also. We had a great time. Well be back.
