About

Park Swim Club, located at 328 College Park Dr, Monroeville, PA, is a private, membership-based outdoor swimming facility that serves as a community hub for summer recreation. It typically offers a large main pool, often a separate kiddie pool, and amenities such as picnic areas, changing rooms, and social events, providing a family-friendly environment for its members.

Specific pool temperatures for Park Swim Club are not publicly available. As a seasonal outdoor facility, the pools are generally unheated, with water temperatures naturally fluctuating based on ambient weather conditions.

What are people saying (AI review summary)? Park Swim Club receives mixed reviews. Positive aspects include good amenities like diving and lap areas, an awesome area for kids, a shallow end perfect for toddlers, a swim team with great coaches, friendly lifeguards, and the option for members to bring guests. Some also found the water perfect and enjoyed the snack shop. However, significant downsides include a high membership fee of $340, which makes individual visits expensive if not used frequently. The claim of a heated pool is contradicted by experiences of very cold water, with the heater reportedly only turned on when people are present, leading to slow heating. The kiddie pool is often empty and cold. Several reviewers also noted issues with cleanliness, mentioning dirt, bugs, hair, and leaves in the water, and smelling bathrooms. There were also complaints about existing members being charged more than new ones and a bad snack shack experience, contrasting with others who found it friendly.

I'd love to give Park Swim Club 5 stars but.... the membership is $340.00. When you only make it to the pool 4 or 5 days in the summer that makes each trip extremely expensive! They like to mention that it's the only heated pool in the area but on Memorial Day weekend the pool was so cold we could only stay in for 15 to 20 mins. When I asked about the heater the staff said they only turn it on while people are there. It's going to take quite a while to heat up that pool at that rate. The kiddie pool is empty unless you request it be filled so it's guaranteed to be very cold for your toddlers. It's nice that's it's so close to our house but cold and expensive is what it is right now.

It’s dirty and unkept. Bugs, hair, dirt and leaves floating on the water. The bathrooms smell. Existing members get charged more than new members and the snack shack is bad. We quit going and tried to get a refund a month into summer. We had a lot of friends here but decided to leave.

Perfect water. Heated and always fun to swim. Great Diving area. Great lap area and awesome area for the kids to swim. Kiddie pool also with a very friendly snack shop, good lifeguards and fun families who swim at Park. Great swim coaches and swim team.

Great place for little kids. My son could touch in the shallow end of the pool and he was thrilled.
