Concessions are available, but some noted expensive drinks and long wait times for food. However, opinions on the staff and lifeguards are sharply divided. Several reviewers found them incredibly rude, inattentive, and unhelpful, citing instances of impoliteness, angry rants, and unfair swim test failures for children. The staff here are so incredibly rude. They need to do basic politeness training for customer service. I remained calm and polite despite a worker going on an angry rant and rolling her eyes at me after she misunderstood my question. I think if you head into it with the expectation that a bunch of teenagers are running the place who could not care less about you or your kids, you'll be fine. They mostly sit around and chat with each other and ignore the public anyway.
AMAZING. It was so fun the people were so polite the food service was great and fast my children loved the place to they didn’t want to leave. It was very fun and I recommend you to go there. So FUN
If I could give negative stars I most definitely would! The lifeguards are very rude, inattentive, & not friendly towards children whatsoever! Made my daughter do a “swim test” (in order to go off of their tiny little diving boards and slides) in which they failed her 3 times when she can clearly hold her breathe under water the entire lane down and back and swim with proper technique, but the life guards were barely watching her “test”..she clearly can swim. Biggest waste of $6 per person I’ve spent!
Oh my gosh, one of the very bests I have ever been to.we go to this 1 time a year just because we go for Iowa city appt. It's great to treat yourself with the kids
Too much fun. Entrance fee here is less than $5 each and it's worth every cent. They have water slides for kids as little as 3 all the way up to a whirlpool one that was even fun for me. There are fun water features that shoot out and poor water. They have a concessions stand with giant hot dogs. But the drinks are expensive and the dogs take a long time to cook. The lifeguards were all very friendly and attentive. Overall fun place to take the kids in the summer time. Make sure you avoid days with summer camps.
