There was an Old Timey , highly capricious, Movie Star named Errol Flynn. It was often said of him : "You can always depend on Errol Flynn, he will ALWAYS let you down." That's MIU for you , a "Culture of Expediency', as they say. On FOUR separate occasions this month (Never mind last year) I have ridden my bike some distance to swim based on the online posted pool hours. What have I found on those FOUR separate occasions? A hand posted sign on the pool doors: "Sorry, Pool closed at 3, Sorry Pool opens at 3, Sorry pool CLOSED." No wonder y'all can't keep 15 people in the facility. GEEZ! PLEASE don't post an apology. I KNOW from past experience it will be it will be all talk and no walk as it always is with MIU related issues. No offense, I say this as an original MIU Student.. Sorry, but as the British say :"There it is." SW

Top notch swimming lessons. It's nice to have the smaller group for the younger ones. The pool is very nice and the people that work there are super nice as well!

There was a weird sad vibe here. I wanted to swim some laps, so my lady love and I decided to try this pool out. The first thing we noticed was the price: it’s 2 bucks cheaper than the lap pool at the local rec center. Upon entering the pool area we then noticed how sparse seating options were... a few plastic chairs here and there, with a few plastic tables. The tables were broken as were the umbrellas in them. If you want to lay out and catch some sun in between dips, sorry, the hot concrete is your only option. The main thing I want to stress is just a generally sad vibe about the whole place. The workers and even the swimmers all seemed like they would rather be somewhere else. Picture a pool after the apocalypse, it’s kind of like that.

I like swimming here. It's really relaxing and nice to have a pool so close by for the students to use. I wish it was opened later or earlier in the season however. But it's a great place for MUM events.
