What are people saying (AI review summary)? The reviews describe a versatile destination offering both enjoyable hiking opportunities with numerous waterfalls and a welcoming swimming area. Visitors praised the beautiful scenery, the clean and warm river, and the peaceful atmosphere, even during busy times. The swimming facilities feature a large pool and a kiddie pool, with life vests provided for children, and lifeguards are highly commended for their safety efforts. Practical information includes a $10 state park entry fee, operating hours of 12-6 pm, and a notable lack of shade, advising visitors to bring sunscreen. Some noted the pool is not Olympic-sized and the diving area frequently closes, along with an unusual entrance process requiring a rinse-off in showers. A temporary closure of the kiddie pool due to a child getting sick was handled efficiently and reopened quickly.

That was a fun hike. Lots of waterfalls and even a couple you can see the backside of water! So many opportunities for great photos. A must stop while you're in the area!
Amazing ! This was such a beautiful place to visit. Had an amazing time with my kiddos. This was really an escape from the city. The river was very clean. It was warm. It was such a peaceful place even though there were a lot of people coming in and going, it was a wonderful walk. It was great. Until next time.
Had an amazing experience on the 4th of July. There were a lot of people but there were a lot of lifeguards there as well. There is a big pool and a kiddie pool. They have life vests for kiddos that might want to try the big pool but need a little help. Kiddie pool closed for about 45 minutes when we were there because a little one got a sick. They got it cleaned up and filtered and was able to open it back up as soon as they could. Entrance was a little weird. You have to go through the locker rooms to get in but that is because they want you to rinse off in the showers before getting into the pool? No idea why, but that is a sign that is posted as you enter the pool area.
The best pool of the area. After seeing the lifeguards go into gear after a small incident in the deep end they do great work and should be commended for keeping their area safe! No shade all sun. Friendly atmosphere and beautiful scenery.
Definitely NOT Olympic Size Pool. Diving Area frequently closed for some reason? $10 per car State Park Entry Fee. Nice especially after “Day Camp” leaves. Hours listed as 12 to 6 pm. No shade so bring your sunglasses and sunscreen!
