What are people saying (AI review summary)? River Hills (RHC) receives mixed reviews, with many patrons highly commending its exceptional cleanliness, polite and attentive staff, and excellent food. Facilities such as the patio, clay tennis courts, and newly added pickleball courts are also noted positively, as is the presence of a security guard at exit. Conversely, significant concerns are raised regarding pool safety, citing inattentive and unprofessional lifeguards, a lack of adult supervision for children, and immature teenagers being in charge. There are also complaints about condescending management and board members, and a perceived lack of respect for members.

Visited River Hills to attend a USTA College Showcase. Parking area and building and all areas were all very clean. All the employees I came across were polite and smiled kindly. Nice patio area with ceiling fans overlooking the clay tennis courts. There are four pickleball courts that appear to have been recently added. There was a parking lot security guard at the entrance as we were leaving the facility. I didn’t see anyone as we entered.
The servers were great! It's really amazing to see what you don't normally see! I know I haven't!
The food was sooo good!!! The staff was awesome!!!
I can’t say enough great things about RHC. We’ve eaten here many times and even had an event here. Great service and wonderful food! I need to mention it’s always very clean which happens to be my favorite thing about this club.
Several experiences with inattentive and VERY unprofessional life guards as well as condescending management and board members. Often there is no adult presence at the pool. Children under 12 are not supervised by parents. Immature teenagers are left in charge of the pool. If you care about your child’s safety - look elsewhere. Invest in a club that respects members that have belonged for 50 plus years. Several clubs-JCC, The Club-are managed better, respect paying members, and take responsibility for their mistakes.
