What are people saying (AI review summary)? Memorial Pool is widely praised for its extensive amenities, including dedicated lap lanes, four large slides, a separate spray area for young children, and an 'obstacle course,' making it a preferred and highly recommended destination for families and kids. Visitors often describe it as providing 'the best pool fun ever' due to the abundance of activities, and many consider the admission cost, though slightly high, to be well worth the experience. However, there are significant criticisms regarding poor customer service and professionalism from the staff, including front desk personnel and lifeguards. Additionally, the policy of charging observers the same fee as swimmers is noted as 'ridiculous'.

We have two pools in town, but my family prefers Memorial. It has dedicated lap swim lanes, 4 big slides, a separate spray area for ages 7 and under, and what we call an “obstacle course.” There is also more seating and pool area overall than at the other pool in town.
I’ve been going here since I was 4 maybe even younger, tho this place has never disappointed. I’d recommend going with a friend because it’s 2x the fun but even with no one you could run into a friend or just simply have fun. I hope this waterpark is open till the day I move. Come to this water park if you want to experience the best pool fun ever!
Went here for the 1st time about 2 weeks or so ago. It was really nice. The cost for 1 adult and 4 kids to get in was was $36. It was a little expensive but worth it because it was plenty to do there. My kids had a ball and enjoyed their time. It's way better than Columbia, Mo swimming pools. We will definitely go again!
This pools employees need to learn how to talk to people, not at people. From the guy at the front desk, to the life guards around the pool, Worst display of customer service, and professionalism I’ve encountered in a long time. Did tax dollars really go to fund these folks? Won’t be back, I’ll stick with the private pools. Good luck Jeff city Parks and Recreation with this bunch…
Best place for kids on a warm day. The same cost for an observer as a swimmer is rediculous.
