Water park featuring a splash pad and a picnic area, plus a restroom.
As a splash pad, Heritage Acres typically uses ambient-temperature water directly from the municipal supply rather than a temperature-controlled pool. Specific water temperature information is generally not provided or maintained, as the water is not heated or chilled for user comfort.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? This location is highly praised, with many considering its splash pad the best around. Key features include a completely fenced-in area with clean, accessible bathrooms inside, and a variety of attractions for children. Its proximity to a well-maintained park/playground is a major plus, allowing kids to play while drying. Visitors appreciate that it's free, easy to access, offers covered seating, and is generally not overcrowded, making it a worthwhile trip for families. However, one review suggested the splash pad could use an update, and a notable concern raised is the lack of handicapped accessibility.

Absolutely the best splash pad around. Completely fenced in with bathrooms inside the fenced in area. There is a variety of things so the kids always have something to enjoy. It's right next to a park so after we are done we take the kids to the park so they can play while they dry. We have tried other splash pads but nothing beats this one for us!
Honestly I had my doubts about splash pads, thinking I always prefer a pool. But this was free, quick & easy to get to, had fairly clean bathrooms available inside, as well as a couple of covered sitting areas to eat. It wasn't overly crowded when we got there, just a few families coming/going. We stayed about 1 hr. I understand the appeal for the kids now. There's also a park nearby with some toys as well.
My family and I love this park. It's never busy that I've noticed. The park equipment is in goo condition and the splash pad is a lot of fun in the warmer months. There are onsite bathrooms as well. All you need to do is bring some food and drinks if you're going to be there a while.
Its a really nice park. Lots for the kiddos to play on. The splash pad is ok. Needs to be updated a bit. We have a son in a wheelchair.. This park is not handicapped friendly! The only reason I gave 3 stars.
I'm from Nixa MO and well worth the drive with 3 under 3 and Dad! We will be making another trip b4 the summer ends and maybe I can get some more pictures to share here. I was having way too much fun to get any pictures.
