What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews for the swimming facility are mixed, with some patrons praising the overall fun experience, slides, diving boards, music, reasonable concession prices, and friendly lifeguards, indicating they would return. However, a significant number of negative experiences highlight concerns about cleanliness, with reports of gross and dirty pool water, and 'atrocious' bathrooms featuring cockroaches, filth, and broken facilities (doors, toilets). Several visitors also noted the closure of amenities like the kids' pool and slides, and the lack of working showers for rinsing off chlorine. A new swim test policy for children under 12 to access deeper areas is a common point of contention, with complaints about long wait times for lifeguards to administer the test, perceived inconsistencies, and the inconvenience for long-time patrons whose children previously swam without issue. Many reviewers expressed that the facility has 'gone downhill' in recent years, with some stating they would not return, or only would for their children's enjoyment despite the issues.

Love the swimming me and my friends have always had a great time every one is nice and loving we all love swimming
Went Sunday and the pool was gross and dirty. The kids pool and slides were closed. They make you do a swim test if you are under 12,and you have to stay in 3ft. Yet I seen a child with a red necklace on jumping in the 4 ft area. Probably won't go back. It really has went downhill this year.
Bathroom/changing areas for both the men and women were atrocious!Wife said the womens had cockroaches running about and filthy waste all over the floor. The mens room had filth and waste all over the floors and walls of the restroom area, the door was ripped off the changing area, and the toilet stall doors were both broken. Pool was fine they have a new rule about kids under 12 not going past the shallow end until they prove they can swim. We have been there multiple times before this rule was put into effect and were still told we would have to wait two hours before a lifeguard who could administer the test would be able to be there bc they forgot to schedule someone and had to call him in. I understand the need for safety but also when we have been patrons for years and our children have clearly swam there in the past with no issue it was an annoying inconvenience to be stuck in the shallow end for almost 2 hours before our kids could go play on the slides and diving board like they normally do. We will go back only bc our kids love to swim but it has definitely gone downhill in the last few years and we certainly won't be eating any food from there and will look into investing in one of those portable pop up changing tents.
Enjoyed the pool fully. Has slides and a good sized 3 foot end for kids 5 and up with diving boards. They play music which makes the entire environment fun. Concession has reasonable prices and the lifeguards are really cool and chilled. Definately will go back with the family again
Why can't they have working showers so you can wash the chlorine off? Honestly this should be a requirement for all municipal pools. Some people are chlorine sensitive but a simple rinse before leaving is sufficient, which is why most pools offer them. Won't be going back.
