Warm water pool complex with lanes and a kids' area, plus water aerobics.
The competition pool is typically maintained at 78-80 degrees Fahrenheit. The warm-up/recreational pool is usually kept at 80-82 degrees Fahrenheit. The children's wading pool is not specifically heated but tends to be warmer due to its shallow depth and ambient air temperature.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? This facility offers several pools for activities like lap swimming, deep water with diving boards, and a kids' area, along with free water aerobics classes. Reviewers note improved water quality due to a new ozonator system and generally clean pool water. However, there are significant drawbacks: schedules are unreliable with frequent, unannounced closures for swim meets, which severely impacts disabled patrons who have pre-arranged transport, often leading to them being stranded and experiencing rude treatment from staff. The shower areas are consistently reported as dirty, in disrepair, and often non-functional. Staff are widely criticized for poor communication and being unaccommodating, particularly towards elderly and disabled visitors.

Excellent for laps or kids in the other pool. 🏊🏽‍♀️ It’s a new ozonator system now, so the water is so much better for skin and sinuses. They keep it clean! Just check the front gate white dry erase board as they are closed a lot of Saturdays for swim meets. Sundays only open noon to 4. Rest is 9am to 4pm usually unless trainings or cleaning 🧼 is happening.
Chlorine free pool… Open till 4 PM…Lifeguards let you know they want youOUT! Shower area needs LOTS OF LOVING CARE! Not clean!! Showers often in disrepair!!!!!! Children’s pool wonderful! Children’s classes were wonderful in the past… Not aware of current classes. Past classes in Pool, with diving board, a wonderful and deeply missed!
Not at all accommodating to disabled in the community. They do not stick to their schedule and decide to close the pool to the public when a meet is there after ensuring that they would be open to the public the day before. For people who need to schedule MEO 24 hours in advance this is impossible to navigate. When MEO drops you off they cannot come back for you until the time you previously set. So because they decide that morning to close the pool to the public, a disabled woman has to sit outside the building for 3 hours until the bus comes back. It’s ridiculous. People try and plan to use these public pools and they just do whatever they want and couldn’t care less how that affects anyone else. Absolutely trash behavior! The staff was also very very rude about the whole thing, especially when she was justifiably upset about them not being open after she had called the day before to ensure that they would be. Do better! This is not the first time this has happened.
The employees here made my disabled grandma cry after telling her the day prior that they would be open; only for her to order her bus, get dropped off and be met with disappointment due to someone being a liar, and having to sit in the heat for 3 HOURS. They berated her for being upset that she made it all the way there only to find out she couldn’t swim. Why not post it on your outdated site? Or have better communication throughout staff? Or not be so disgustingly rude to an elderly woman in a wheelchair chair that you make her cry and wait for her bus to come back? If you are disabled: do not come here, if you are planning ahead: do not come here, if you are looking for a smiling face or some help with schedule questions: this is not the place for you. if you come here you are supporting abhorrent, ableists that seem to care more about supporting unruly staff with attitude problems than being a good staple of the community.
Several pools, lap swimming, deep water with diving boards, 1 high 2 low, kids pool/area and at least one water aerobics class 5-6 days a week, all free! The Deep water aerobics class is fantastic, excellent workout with a difficult rating, while the Shallow water class is beginning. Both require water weights and are supplied. Also, deep water requires a flotation belt, also supplied. Men’s and women’s showers, lockers and changing area, although not private. 4 star, not 5 because only 2 of the 5 showers work in the women’s area, also, one diving board is out of commission. Ample parking and handicap accessible.
