Used to love this place due to unconditional safety during the locker room I would not suggest your kids govil the police are refusing to work with Iraq department for update news security in the locker rooms rec department is willing to work with a police department they are not willing to do this if you do go here please please please please for the love of God make sure you walk into the locker rooms with your kids for your kids safety

So far they are never open and the website doesn’t match what is actually going on with this place. Each time I have gone they are closed even though Google says they are open. It is frustrating and annoying when you have children who want to just swim because it is hot outside. Do better!!!

Lovely community pool in the heart of downtown...stop in to enjoy lap swimming, aqua fitness classes, or family open swim. The showers were updated for 2023 & the 20235 lifeguards are SO awesome 😎! One thing that needs improvement: the pool is only open through early August. Yet summery weather continues long after that! With a little creative thinking and strategic planning, this facility could be kept open through Labor Day (at a minimum) to provide fitness opportunities to all, and learn to swim/water safety instruction to all area school children. If that sounds good to you, let the City of Kalamazoo Parks Department know!

My 6 year old grandson loves this pool. I like it too, as long as I can be in the shade under the awning. The pool is always clean and the chemicals well-balanced. No chlorine smell! That is super important to me. The whole park is nice, and I personally love that the Kalamazoo Farmers Market is across the street :)

This pool is amazing and I love the treats and stuff they have there, but I don't like that they open so late and close so early...
