What are people saying (AI review summary)? The reviews offer a mixed but generally positive perspective on the facility. Many praise it as a great community asset, highlighting its cleanliness, uncrowded nature, and amenities such as a lazy river, children's splash area, and a diving board. The adjacent recreation center is also noted for its basketball courts and fitness room. Lifeguards were described as friendly by one visitor. However, significant drawbacks include a reported 'infestation of wolf spiders' and an arbitrary, inconsistently enforced new rule banning tempered glass goggles, which are widely available and were previously permitted. This goggle rule has led to frustration, perceived unprofessionalism from staff, and a lack of clear communication regarding facility policies. One user also noted the water slide was closed.

It’s a nice pool, clean and not that crowded. One drawback is the spiders! I think they have an infestation of wolf spiders.
I've been going to the pool for over 7 years now, sure their have been problems in the past with it being small little things. but this year they've partly banned tempered glass goggles, cause glass is an use, except they really only make tempered glass goggles now a days, one of the empolys on the community center even said to us "that not true I bought some 5 years ago" which makes their point null as 5 years is a long time. it makes no sense to ban somthing that is specifically made to with stand pressure. looking at the pool that day there was not a single goggle in sight, just proving the point that plastic one are going out of popularity now that better and less breakable ones are being made and sold at good prices. some other notes the new director was apparently the one who made the rule this year, even though she said to us that his has always been a rule and they must not have caught it the last year(even though again we had been using these goggles for a few years now) because we made a complaint one life guard who (as my brother put it) was just a 16 year old looking for some power, tattled on us to their higher up who told every life guard to watch us. The rules no where say anything about the material they have to be made out of, I've check the physical board and online not a thing. and my final note is that the goggles my brothers had where taken used as an example and they where gonna give them back, luckily my grandma and I where there to say something. we pretty much just want the people there to actually learn what to do instead of just assuming.
This is a great pool! The younger kids will love the lazy river and the children's splash area, while older visitors will enjoy the water slide, concession stand, and sitting areas. Attached to the Eudora Recreation Center, head inside to check out the current programs being offered or the different recreation services available. Local Tip: The punch pass or family pass are definitely a better value if you plan on attending the pool often throughout the summer months. Call the recreation center for current pricing.
First time in this facility. What a great asset for the community of Eudora! While there to watch rec basketball (there were two courts with bleachers) the physical fitness room looked to have a great assortment of machines to get a good workout in. There may have been free weights too.
