About

Public swimming pool with lifeguards.

The pool at Kapaa Swimming Pool is heated. However, a specific temperature range is not readily available in public information sources.

What are people saying (AI review summary)? This pool is highly praised for its cleanliness, great views, and free admission. It is often uncrowded and well-regarded for lap swimming, with staff, especially lifeguard Andrew, receiving positive mentions. While it's considered good for kids learning to swim, families with young non-swimmers may find it challenging due to strict rules: no flotation devices (like life jackets or puddle jumpers) are allowed for children, requiring parents to hold them. Additionally, the pool only has ladders for entry/exit, lacks stairs, and prohibits blow-up toys, allowing only pool noodles for swimmers.

Great pool to swim in with very few people! Many thanks to Andrew the lifeguard for manning the fort.

Nice pool for laps, not family friendly. If you have young kids they do not allow flotation devices of any kind for them( life jackets, puddle jumpers, any kind at all) so be prepared to hold your non swimmers. I have 3 non swimmers this was a problem. Also no stairs only latters. Lap swimmers are allowed a floating device which didn't make sense.

We love the pool. It's a great facility for everyone. It's free. Mostly lap swimmers are there but kids can go too with an adult. Lots of sunshine, bring your sunscreen! Oh, and no blow up toys. Only pool noodles for swimmers.
