My kids have been going to Camp Lovewell for the past nine summers and they absolutely love it! The staff does an amazing job keeping them busy and entertained while remaining outdoors all day. With swimming, hiking, kayaking, archery, field sports, art, and team building activities, there is something for everyone! My kids have made wonderful friends at this camp that they look forward to seeing each summer when they return.
My child is now on their third year of attending Camp Lovewell and despite not being particularly outdoorsy, asks after every year to come back. His favorite parts of camp are archery, the pool, art, kayaking, and the people. As a former Camp professional, I personally appreciate the ACA accreditation and wide range of activities that they are able to do, and especially the counselor:camper ratios. I highly recommend Lovewell!
Camp lovewell is fabulous! There is so much to do, there's no time to be bored. Nature and hiking adventures kiyaking, swimming, sports of all sorts (archery too!) unique and creative crafts, play writing/drama & skits. But don't miss the FARM with horses, cows, goats and so many animals (even a white peacock). My granddaughter can't wait to go back again! Wonderful, caring and knowledgeable staff. Great school!
First year we attended and the first year my Son wanted to go everyday. He Loved it. Great Activities. Best Staff Ever! Always checked in with the Parents daily. Smaller Camp so kids are not lost in the shuffle. Wouldnt go anwhere else.
My daughter had covid the last week of camp , camp was notified immediately, I did not ask for a refund, possibly a credit towards next summer, all my emails were completely ignored, no response at all, I guess they'd rather have kids just sent in sick to make everyone else sick then negotiate with parents
