About

Public swimming pool open to residents and non-residents, plus soccer fields.

Information regarding specific pool temperatures for Boerne City Pool is not readily available from official sources. As a seasonal outdoor public pool in Texas, it is generally unheated and its water temperature is typically subject to ambient weather conditions.

What are people saying (AI review summary)? The pool generally receives positive feedback for its size, features (including two diving boards and dedicated adult swim times), and the fun it offers to children. Resident pricing is considered good value, though non-residents pay $5. However, several common concerns were noted: lifeguards are often perceived as very strict, facility maintenance (particularly restrooms and seating) needs improvement with few comfortable or unbroken chairs, and one detailed review highlighted an alleged instance of discrimination by a swimming coach, poor organization regarding certificates, potentially due to language spoken by the parent.

Love the pool. I'm not a resident, so I pay $5. Worthy. Kids had a blast.

The pool was good lifeguards very strict. Couldn’t even do a basic chicken fight with other adults.

I took two swimming sessions with my daughter. The first coach was very kind—she taught my daughter new things, was attentive, and gave time to everyone. The second coach, on the other hand, discriminated against my daughter. She gave exercises, toys, and attention to everyone else first, and my daughter last. She never addressed my daughter by name. My daughter completed all the activities only because I was helping her. In the end, I had to ask for our certificate myself—no one offered it to us until another parent mentioned it to me. I spoke Spanish only with my daughter, but we understand and speak English with everyone else. Unfortunately, I believe this is the reason why we were treated differently.

Good public pool, well maintained, minus the restrooms occasionally but the pool is totally worth going to anyway, lifeguards on rotation the entire time from open to close and 2 diving boards plus the last 10 minutes of every hour is adult swim the kids have to take a short break and you get a nice break in the pool without any kids splashing and jumping in around while you swim for 10min. Been going here since i was a kid still reminds me of the pool scene in the sandlot movie. Good times

The pool itself is nice. It has plenty of space for all ages. However I am only giving 3 stars because there are only a few chairs and most of the chaises are broken. There are benches and picnic tables, but they are not comfortable. Also the bathrooms and maintenance building needs some attention. Only $2 for residents, so that’s nice, I just wish there was somewhere comfortable to sit and watch my kids.
