Mrs Barbara has been such a great coach to both of my daughters. This cheerleading program has helped them In so many ways, like building confidence and bringing out new talents within them. We are thankful to have found this cheer team❤️.
I enrolled my 2 year old in the YMCA "Parent and Child Lessons" program, and it was an incredible experience! The class focuses on helping toddlers feel comfortable and confident in the water, and it absolutely delivered. Our instructor, Jordan, was amazing, patient, knowledgeable, and so good with the kids. I connected with her and was even able to schedule private one-on-one lessons for my child. Thanks to her guidance and teaching, my 2 year old can now tread water, float, and even swim on their back! I’m so grateful for Jordan and the YMCA for offering such a wonderful program. I highly recommend this class, and Jordan, to any parent who wants to give their child a strong start in the water.
2 of my daughters have been doing swim classes and when they got their evaluation, we signed up to continue them in the next levels. Mrs Winna is AMAZING, she was reviewing sign ups and noticed my paperwork didn't match what the desk person signed them up for. Instead of starting next Saturday, they signed us up for 2 months from now, even though I circled the classes starting next week. (Taking a 2 month break while learning to swim is not good) She had such attention to detail and caught the discrepancy in my sign up, called me to check if the person at the desk signed them up correctly, and resolved it for us. It's people like her that make businesses like these run smoothly and her care is so appreciated. Please tell her thank you for everything she does when you see her. Thank you Mrs Winna.
I want to thank Brailyn, a truly outstanding staff member at the Armed Services YMCA in Killeen. From the moment we arrived, Brailyn went above and beyond to make my family feel welcome and valued. Her warm smile, positive energy, and genuine care were immediately apparent. Brailyn’s professionalism, compassion, and dedication to supporting military families shine through in everything she does. She takes the time to listen, connect, and make sure every individual feels seen and appreciated. It’s rare to meet someone who brings such heart to their work, and it’s clear that Brailyn is not only passionate about the mission of the YMCA, but also deeply committed to the people she serves. She is a true asset to the organization someone who brings light, comfort, and joy to everyone she interacts with. My family left feeling uplifted and grateful, thanks to her presence and the kindness she extended. Brailyn embodies the very best of what community support should look like, and we are incredibly thankful for her.
Coach Tasha Moore definitely gave my daughter a whole new outlook on volleyball. With her having two years of prior experience, I feel like she will be ready for high school. She was an amazing coach and she gave a lot of good tips and pointers to the young ladies.
