Large outdoor park with basketball courts, playgrounds (some duck-filled) and a pool.
Specific temperature information for pools is not available for Copperas Cove City Park. The park's primary water feature is a splash pad, which typically uses ambient temperature water rather than temperature-controlled pool water.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? This park is generally described as a peaceful and beautiful space, popular for walks around the pond, family picnics, and observing friendly ducks. It offers numerous athletic fields for sports like baseball, soccer, football, and futsal, with well-maintained restrooms. The Spring Festival (formerly Rabbit Fest) is highly regarded for its wide array of attractions including live bands, fireworks, carnival rides, and various food and craft vendors. However, the park has some areas needing improvement, such as the lack of clear signage for athletic fields, and the need for upgrades to playgrounds, bleachers, and roads. The Fall Festival was a disappointment to one reviewer due to a lack of vendors and overpriced, low-quality food. A significant concern highlighted is the park's pool, which is strongly cautioned against due to reports of unsanitary conditions leading to 'swimmer's flu' from bacteria, and inadequate lifeguard performance.

I love taking my dog to walk in this park around the pond. I enjoy watching families fish together, play together, picnic together and so much more. Baseball and soccer are always going on. The restrooms are well maintained. It is just so peaceful and beautiful. I feel refreshed every morning after my walk.
Went to the Fall Festival. It took 15 minutes to see all they had to offer. Not many vendors except to hand out candy to the kids. A few food trucks, and that was it. $20 for a turkey leg! And it was dry! I like going to the Rabbit Fest, now called the Spring Festival, when they have it here. They have live bands, fireworks, carnival rides and games, lots of food vendors, vendors selling crafts, and much more. It is usually $5 for parking and lasts for 3 days, Friday through Sunday.
Pretty big Park with a lot of athletic fields. I have gone to the fields to watch my Grandsons play football, futball, and baseball. If I had to ask for one thing to be done to the Park it would be field markers and signs directing a person to the fields. Other than that, nice layout.
It is a decent park. Could use some upgrades such as playground, bleachers, and road. Most families enjoy going there because of the ducks. They like to feed them. There are plenty of ducks there. And all sizes. For the most part, they are friendly but they will follow you around...like a dog :-)
Please do not go here. The life guards are joke. And and me and my family went tuesday and ever since we have been sick. My daughter was diagnosed with swimmers flu because of this pool...please do not take your kids here.Do not go here they are not cleaning the pool properly. And my daughter's Doctor said the only way you can get swimmer's flu is from bacteria in the water. Please be careful.
