Clean recreation center featuring a large, heated indoor pool plus a gym and yoga classes.
The center features two indoor pools: a lap pool generally maintained at approximately 80-82°F (26.7-27.8°C), and a warmer therapy pool typically kept around 90-92°F (32.2-33.3°C) for rehabilitation and warmer water activities.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? The facility receives mixed reviews, often praised for its cleanliness, great pool, and generally friendly and knowledgeable staff, particularly lifeguards. Many members appreciate the overall atmosphere and the quality of the swimming experience. However, significant concerns are raised regarding the gym, with complaints about a lack of essential equipment (e.g., preacher curl, vertical leg press), outdated or unused machines, and a poorly designed free-weights section that creates access issues. Users also criticize the '30-minute limit' on equipment as unreasonable and report issues with members hogging popular machines like the cable machine. Some find the facility overpriced for its offerings, noting that the pool can be surprisingly shallow and the equipment selection mediocre. Staff friendliness is also a point of contention, with some positive experiences contrasted by reports of unfriendliness. Despite its flaws, it is acknowledged as the primary fitness option in the area.

Very nice and clean gym with a great pool. Friendly staff and a really good crowd. Highly recommend!”
I only use the gym so I cannot comment on the pool. Gym is OK but nothing to write home about. The equipment is lacking..........I.E. , I have never seen a gym without a preacher curl bench OR a vertical leg press until now ( they have an ultra lame cable machine in it's place, which is horrible) and they really do not have an excuse because some of the equipment there are basically boat anchors which hardly anyone uses. Other than that , the atmosphere is pretty quiet , with the occasional gym member disregarding the signs which say " take your phone conversation outside" . Another problem within the gym is how they have used the space in the free weights section. Anyone that frequents this gym and uses this section, understands what I mean. Very poorly thought out space planning. 2 benches are only inches away from the dumbell racks, making it impossible to access the dumbells if someone is using those benches and usually someone IS. There should be a sign posted which states that the benches must be kept away from the racks. Which brings up another, why are all the racks all jumbled in one place, forcing access only at one point? this not how it's done. You put one on one side of the free weights section and one on another side so EVERYONE can have access all the time. Common sense. Next to the cable machine there is a sign that says “30 minute limit on equipment “. 30 minutes? That’s not reasonable. People have to wait a half hour to get to use one peice of equipment? Maybe that’s why I always have to wait for the cable machine. There’s one a-hole that literally spends 45-60 minutes on the cable machine. Then at 4:30 there’s always this couple that hogs it for approximately the same amount of time. Wtf is that anyway?
Clean, chill, great pool, nice gym. Love the rec center.
Today I went with my daughter and grandsons to check out CRC. The swimming was a great time. Kelly was very pleasant and knowledgeable. I was impressed with lifeguards willingness to work with the boys. Needless to say we have membership.
It's the best place in town!!! Because it's the only place, not only in town but for about 45 min.s away. The facility is way over priced for the amount they actually have to offer. The staff is unfriendedly, the equipment often outdated and overall selection is mediocre at best. Even the highlgiht of the center, the pool, is surprisingly shallow and cuts laps short. While the locker rooms are clean, I don't personally believe that's the best thing that should be said about a place you pay $35 a month for to stay in shape.
