What are people saying (AI review summary)? This recreational facility is largely praised for its affordability, with reasonable daily admission fees and season pass options, making it a good value for families. Visitors appreciate being able to bring their own food and drinks, and the cool features like slides and a climbing wall are a hit with children. However, significant concerns were consistently raised regarding safety and lifeguard effectiveness. Multiple reviews describe lifeguards exhibiting poor attentiveness, ignoring serious incidents such as teenage fights and young children being held underwater, and failing to enforce rules regarding rough play and throwing objects, which resulted in an unsafe environment for younger children. Lifeguards were also criticized for their attitude and rigid swim test policies. While other staff members were generally noted as nice, minor drawbacks included the lack of provided seating or shade, and expensive on-site snacks.

The prices are great. I got a family pass for 4 for $120. The staff is nice and helpful. There are a lot of young people that like to hang out in the showers and just talk and some of the younger guys are too rough in the pool. The rules state not to throw things and my kid, nieces, and nephew have all been hit in the face with flying toys that they throw and they always turn away and laugh. I feel like the pool should crack down on the amount of underage kids and make it be required to have an adult with anyone under 18 at this point. No little kids should have to be on the lookout for flying toys when they are in the shallow end of the pool and/or the splash pad.
Awesome place. Cheap. Something like 4-5 bucks per person to swim all day. My family has a season pass which was like 120 bucks for 5 of us. If youre wanting to sit outside the pool, bring a chair and something for shade cause there isnt either there.
The set up is very nice this was our first visit, but here's the issue I had was the LIFEGUARDS!!! Unfortunately 2 fights broke out the first altercation was a group of teenage boys around 10 of them, and punches were being thrown my husband and I yelled at the lifeguard that was sitting around 2 to 3 feet from the situation and she looked at us and turned her head mind you our 7 year old was with us and younger kids all around. The 2nd altercation 3 boys around middle school age was grabbing kids who were 5 years of age by the neck and holding them under water this was near the shallow slope and nothing. We Unfortunately will not be returning because of these two situations train your LIFEGUARDS better before someone's child gets hurt or worse killed.
Cool features and pretty cheap to get in. However, the lifeguards have major attitude problems. If your child doesn’t pass the swim test there is very little they can do besides the splash pad area. I did not know my child was doing the swim test and they said she failed but would not allow her to try again with me present. Absolutely ridiculous. Do better!
Enjoyed our first visit to the pool yesterday (7/8/23). I live in Corryton, but my middle daughter lives in Greenback. She invited me & her 9 yro sister to go with her, my son-in-law, and 3 of my granddaughters. All the little girls had a blast! (We adults enjoyed it too.) 😁 The admission fee is reasonable (though I do think you shouldn't have to pay for 2yro & under). You're allowed to bring your "OWN" food and drinks in, but they also sell some "snacks", can sodas, chips, water, and candy bars (I think the can sodas are kind of expensive @ $2 ea). The 9 & 5 yro girls LOVED the winding slide into the water, and my 9yro absolutely loved the climbing wall once she got the nerve up to try it. Overall, it's a great place to bring your children to play and cool off for the summer! If I lived closer, we would be visiting more often. I'm sure we will take the drive to visit again before the summer is over. 🥰 ***You can also bring small floats, rings, and noodles for the kids to use them in the pool.***
