This amusement park was both a hit and a miss. The old time feel carnival vibe was nostalgic, great food and because it was hot it was nice to have a small water park to cool off at. The park is completely understaffed with alternating rides not knowing what rides are operational or randomly closed. 3 rides were never open the 3 days we were there. Ride operators were not friendly like most parks. This place is nowhere near the fun and excitement of Kings Island or Six Flags but has more to do than a local county fair.
We had a great time there! My wife and grandkids and daughter all went. We went on a Monday and paid the "over 60" prices which was nice. Easy parking either free with a short walk or 20.00 to be right by the entrance. Very clean TONS to do, shops everywhere, lots of rides etc. I thought I had been there as a kid but I guess not because I don't remember any of it. Will you set up camp over by the splash pad to the farthest end of the park. We went on tons of rides roller coasters antique cars the sky lift the water slides the lazy river which was awesome we had a great time. About 6:00 at night the wife and I decided to take the ferry boat ride as we are cruising around the beautiful scenery we see the splash pad is now closed in all of our stuff is gone!!!! 😮 Luckily the gentleman on the boat was very nice and told us that they probably just took it to guest services I was able to find the phone number call them while I was still on the boat and verify that they had all of our stuff. We got back grabbed everything the ladies at guest service were very nice all excellent service wonderful all the way around we had a fantastic time would highly recommend it.
Nice way to spend a day. I like that once you pay admission, most of the rides are included - i think I noticed only one attraction that cost more. Lines were not too long. I reviewed the wooden roller coaster separately, but it was way too rough for this senior citizen. The food was expensive, but that seems to be the case everywhere these days. There is a nice sky tram that was a fun ride. We were there on a Friday, and it wasn't too crowded, but it was hot so the crowds might have kept people away. Overall it was enjoyable.
Booked a little vaca for four days. Had to move to a new cabin after two days (was informed before hand, so not a big deal) the problem was they wanted us out of the first cabin at 11 am, but said we couldn't get in the new cabin till 4pm. We were never told that when we booked. A bit ridiculous to be honest.
We love the park! I would give it five stars except several rides broke down a lot and one didn't open. The lines were a bit long but we really had a wonderful time. We also like the food. Several of the roller coasters are excellent including the Cornball Express and the Triple Loop Coaster. Also love the Lost coaster at Superstition Mountain and Frankenstein's Castle. They have a really nice Beach/water park as well.
