Public swimming pool that's a good option for kids and families.
Specific information regarding the operating temperature of the pool(s) at Grandview Swimming Pool is not readily available from public sources. As a public outdoor pool, temperatures are generally maintained for comfortable recreational swimming during the operational summer season, but a precise figure is not published.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? The majority of reviews are negative, with recurring complaints about overly strict lifeguards perceived as harassing rather than ensuring safety, arbitrary and inconsistent swim tests that unfairly restrict children from using the deep end, and a general decline in facility quality including poor maintenance (e.g., a secretly repaired hole, dirty kiddie pool). Other issues cited include a lack of amenities like shade and diving boards, and operational problems such as false advertising for 'night swimming' and unresponsiveness from staff. Conversely, one review offered high praise for the friendly staff, less crowded environment, and recommended the location.

Worst pool experience ever. The lifeguards watch your every move, NOT for safety but for the sheer joy of humiliating you. They tried taking my 9 year old (who is a very good swimmer) AWAY from me, for a swim test before allowing him to go past the 4’ all WITHOUT my consent- they said “ they felt he was not a strong swimmer and wanted him to be tested”. This was completely inappropriate! They went on to blow the whistle at our family over 10 times for 10 different ridiculous reasons- all within 20 minutes of being there. Our family will not be returning. So sad this family fun event had to be ruined for the sake of “safety” or lawsuits. I had to stop and wonder if we were still in America!
So sad to see how this place is run now, I've been going here since I was a child, I've taken my child since he could swim.... they took out the diving boards... the maintenance on this place is really in dire need. One life guard admitted they just fixed a hole in the pool but not to tell anyone.. then they suddenly pull my 11 year old for a swim test and failed him which he already passed the exact test last year and earned his right to go in the deep end, they passed a kid after him w far less ability so im upset because I had just purchased a pass and surely didn't buy it to stand in the shallow end with my child whom is over 5ft tall but cant go in the 5 foot depth even.... come to find out no refunds like really come on
I went there for night swimming and nobody was there which is false advertising because there saying it’s open from 7-9 pm before July 31 , also they were ignoring my calls and we knocked on the door multiple times and no one opened the door
It has no shade only one spot which was taken when I was there for a birthday party and the kiddie pool was dirty with a few bugs in it. The good stuff about it was there is a kiddie pool and it's shaded. Oh & they have tables with chairs in the sun NO UMBRELLAS come on it's Kingman, AZ IT'S HOT OUT THERE UMBRELLAS don't cost that much
This is my favorite place to go swimming here in kingman, and it's not so busy but all the people that are there including the staff are the most friendliest people I've met in my life! 10/10 recommend
