Public pool offering swimming lessons and water fitness classes, plus a splash pad.
The pools at the Chris Lyle Aquatic Center are heated, particularly during cooler months, to ensure a comfortable swimming environment. A specific, consistent temperature is not publicly provided.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? The facility offers various activities and lessons (with a waiting list) and has a pricing structure of $4 for residents and $5 for non-residents, with a monthly calendar of events available. Staff, including lifeguards, are generally described as friendly and kind. While some patrons praise the pool for lap swimming, warm water, and cleanliness, there are significant complaints regarding the facility's condition, with reports of unacceptable insect infestation, debris, and surface contamination, particularly on Father's Day. A recent family pass price increase from $125 to $225 has caused disappointment among long-term residents. One highly negative experience involved multiple unexpected pool closures shortly after entry, resulting in a non-refundable credit instead of a cash refund, leading to strong dissatisfaction.
Reviews
The pool's condition was unacceptable; given it was Father's Day, more thorough cleaning was expected. Insect infestation and debris, including significant accumulations near the filters, were observed, and children's activity exacerbated surface contamination.
As a local resident of 32 years, I am so disappointed in the family price increase. $125 to $225 is a bit excessive. I understand the need to increase because of the increased cost to fund, but seriously.
4$ residents 5$ non residents Go to their website or visit the front desk, there's something for everyone. Check the monthly calendar for events. They're offering lessons, but there's a waiting list. We had a great time, and staff lifeguards were really nice.
We get there at 1:20pm and fill out the paperwork because we have never been there, at 1:27 they say the pool is closed it will reopen at 1:57, we go back at 2 and they take my $21 but once we are in there for no more than 2 minutes they close again so im out $21 because I cant get my money back and they put it on credit. Im not going back there ever again, I work hard for my money and if the kids couldn't enjoy the pool I want my $21 back asap.
Fantastic pool for swimming laps, friendly and kind staff, warm water, clean facilities Be careful of bugs!
