What are people saying (AI review summary)? This outdoor pool generally receives positive feedback for being clean, well-maintained, and having friendly staff and lifeguards, making it a safe and enjoyable place, especially for children. It features a 50m pool with diving boards and accessibility options, and its price is considered better than other local pools. Guests appreciate the covered picnic tables and the ability to bring their own coolers. However, several drawbacks are noted, including insufficient parking for swim events, its smaller size compared to other pools, and extremely limited amenities like chairs, rafts, and the absence of umbrellas or safety vests, often requiring visitors to bring their own. The soda/water machines are frequently empty, and diving boards can be closed due to maintenance issues like wasp nests. A common complaint is that lap ropes are left in during open swim, which can be inconvenient for recreational swimmers.
Reviews
Great outdoor pool with a few nice amenities. Insufficient parking for swim events. Short and long courses, the 50m pool (equipped with springboard diving and scuba-diving areas, complete with two one-meter diving boards, and a hoist lift to allow access to people with mobility difficulties)
It is a much smaller pool than Gandy in South Lakeland or Winter Haven. The amenities are extremely limited. For example they had only 3 lawn chairs with no umbrellas. They had only two rafts available for use and no safety vests for younger children. There are covered pinic tables and they allow you to bring in cooler items which is nice. Especially seeing as their soda/water machines address always empty. They have two diving boards which are great when they are available for use. On two visits they were closed because there was a wasp nest under one. The pool is well maintained but they leave in the ropes used for laps and competitions even during open swim time. So the kids swimming after constantly being nagged to stay away from the ropes which is ridiculous how about get them out of the water during open swim like every other pool. The price is much better than the other pools but if you need umbrellas, rafts, vests, drinks, you definitely have to bring them yourself.
Great and chill place.
My grandson loves this pool. Great fun he has.
Very nice place, people are friendly there. The pool was clean. Lifeguards were there which makes the whole experience safe specially when you have kids.
