The staff was amazing—so friendly and helpful! Rooms were spacious, spotless, and comfortable. There’s plenty to do all day, and the food was delicious. Parking was convenient with easy unloading and luggage carts available. The only minor drawback was having to share a hallway microwave instead of having one in the room, but it wasn’t a big issue. Overall, a fantastic stay—I’d definitely recommend if u have young kids.
My family and I had an amazing time. We definitely recommend going to have fun. I felt stress-free with using my wristband instead of having to pull out my cash the whole time. But still keep all your receipts and download the app to keep up with your spending. They did accidentally charge me for pool towels but refunded me immediately. So, check everything after you check out. I purchased the dining pass and paw pass for activities which helped as well. The staff were friendly and the park was clean. The bedrooms are very spacious. There was something for everybody to do. We did hope it was a pool that accommodated up to 6 feet for taller people. Every pool goes up to 4 feet. But we understood that it's for kids so we made the best out of it and folded our legs. Also, we hoped the bowling alley could accommodate adults as well. The balls were very small. We liked the fact we were able to still enjoy the activities the next day. We stayed one night, but we were able to checkout and go back in to continue going to the water park and everything else. I like the fact how the lifeguards were really checking the water and I even watched a lifeguard save a child who was drowning. The lifeguard jumped in the pool really quick and saved the boy. That made me feel comfortable, but I still kept my eyes on my child every step of the way because there were a lot of people there. I feel like it's less crowded during the weekday versus the weekend. That makes you feel like you are getting your money's worth. 🙂😁
This facility was nice. No issues with cleanliness. The staff were very generous and outgoing. The magi quest was way too long and the sensors were horrible. The lines were very long and it took 8 hours to complete the quest. The chlorine in the pool was very high but I do understand why. The ice cream was great and they do have a better selection than the one in the Poconos. I do not like that we were charged for a child's breakfast and the child did not eat anything. The Paw Pass did not include as much as the one in the Poconos for obvious reasons but I was still satisfied with the selection.
Our pack had a great mini vacation here in August 2025. My girls (2 and 5 yrs) shared bunk beds in the bear den room. I recommend that room type if it fits your needs, nice to have a like room for them to go into at night. The water park was great fun, and there were plenty of water slides and splash pads that my young girls could enjoy without being afraid. We spent 2 nights and 3 days here. Wish we had gotten there earlier in the first day and left later on the last day to make the most of our stay, but overall we had a great time and built some core memories. Food was a bit expensive, so we ended up ordering Dominoes delivery one night. We got the pup pass for the girls and it was the right amount of activities for their ages. They really liked the Build a Bear and still sleep with their stuffies every night.
Disappointed by Customer Service & Refusal to Honor Promotional Deal I’ve stayed at Great Wolf Lodge in Perryville before and had a fantastic time. That’s why I was excited to receive an email about a “last day of the sale” offer — it seemed like the perfect opportunity to book another stay for my upcoming vacation with the kids. I carefully selected August dates (which were showing the promotional rate), entered the required info for all six guests, chose a room, added on extras, and completed the booking process. Everything looked correct on my end. Minutes later, I received a confirmation email — for a completely different date in October, and only for two adults. That’s not what I selected at all. I immediately wrote to customer service to explain what had happened, while the sale was still active. I received a generic “we’ll get back to you” email. After getting no real response, I called the next day after work. The representative told me they would not change the dates, even though I reached out instantly and the error was clearly on their end. Instead, they tried to convince me to keep the incorrect October reservation — during a time when I’d be working and my kids would be in school. Their reason for not correcting it? “The sale had ended.” Even though I reached out while it was still active. Eventually, and only begrudgingly, they let me cancel without penalty. But not before trying to push me again to just accept the October dates. Then, as if that wasn’t frustrating enough, they had the nerve to offer me a “great deal” at one of their partner hotels — the Hilton. No thank you. This whole situation has left me incredibly disappointed. I’ve lost trust in Great Wolf’s ability to honor their promotions and in the reliability of their booking system. What should have been a fun trip turned into an unnecessary hassle. The worst part is having to tell my kids it’s not happening now. I had great memories from our first visit, but after this experience, I’m not sure I’ll be returning. It’s not just about the mistake — it’s how poorly it was handled.
