The pool is always amazing and the water was great. But I would say, do not visit the food truck. My husband got a blt, and the bacon was very rubbery. We ordered fries because you can't go wrong with fries, right? Well, yeah. The fries were really soggy and could have used another few minutes in the grease. It's not the cheapest food either, So make sure you got your wallet out. I also got a snowball which was good But they charged seventy five cents for marshmallow, and you barely even get any. Moral of this review, bring a cooler with all your lunch and snacks!!!

First time going to this pool and we loved it. It's clean and has plenty of room for laying out in the sun. There aren't many seating options around the pool so if you don't want to lay out on the grass, bring a folding chair. The pool is large enough that we didn't feel cramped while swimming. My husband had fun on the diving boards. They have a snack shack that has snowballs, ice cream and candies and a food truck that sells really delicious food, not the regular pool concession stand variety. We will definitely be back.

I haven't been there since last summer but I can tell you that my family made it an annual thing to go on July 4th, stay till close and then go to the fireworks. It's only 21 miles from my house but takes about 40 or so minutes to get there and that ride to and from the pool became iconic for us too as we would jam out as a family taking turns picking songs. Anyways, enough about my family, but I love Shanbergers!! Great staff, mostly family themselves, reasonably priced snack bar and ice cream and the best part of all...the naturally spring fed pool that is by far the coldest water even in the worst heat. It is so refreshing, and even when it's crowded, there's plenty of room in the pool. I've never felt like I didn't have enough room to swim around. Also, many years ago, my now 18 year old son was probably about 6, and even though he was faking it to get the attention of some cute teenage girls the lifeguards were so attentive that they jumped right in to "save" him. So, it just proved to me that had he really been in trouble, they would have got him super fast. Honestly, I could go on forever about things I love about Shanbergers, but if you've ever been, then you know, and if you haven't, then you need to go. You and your family will love it!!

A friend of mine suggested this place and we have enjoyed both visits so far. Clean bathrooms, snack bar and plenty of space to set up for the day. Thinking about getting a membership for next summer. Would recommend

The location is great, ample free parking, clean grounds, pool & small playgrounds for children. Pricing is reasonable and if u get there early u may get a lounge chair. The main pool is a good size and the kiddie pool is ok; disappointing it had quite a few bugs and did not look that clean. The playgrounds for the children is small and keep in mind the slides will get hot as they are not in a shaded area. The place is very clean and folks brought tents, chairs, blankets, etc. as there’s plenty lawn space to relax and lounge on. Bring bug spray if u plan to be there long, it wasn’t an issue for us but it wouldn’t hurt if u plan set up on the lawn. There is also a skinny bench along the pool side if u want to park ur things there before jumping in the pool. Bathrooms were clean, the floors stayed wet but they had air blowers to combat that. Overall a good time; be safe, and enjoy!
