Friendly staff. The pool doesn't get full like other pools in Laredo. For most part it's empty or less than 10 people when we pass by. I asked about the pool swim clothes policy and it's the same every where. Swim suits/ clothes or polyester clothes. No cotton! No food or drink allowed, only water. So it's awesome that we finally came to this location and we have the whole pool to our selves 😊 sometimes the online isn't accurate so it's better to pass by to make sure
The slide is awesome! I suggest bringing floaties, water toys and snacks. There is a 30 minutes break around 430pm. Restroom and shower are available.
I haven’t been here in years. But I learned to swim here in 1997. I also had some of the most memorable moments with my father, cousins and friends here as a kid. I’m 30 now. And still drive by this place when I visit. Great location. And love how the Baseball park, basketball court and playground all interconnect. I went to field trips on here and that was a lot of fun too. I love my Laredo landmarks 🙏
Set inside Trautman park, it is an older heated pool open to rec swim and team swim. It is the home pool for Laredo Vortex Aquatics. The city maintains pool and does a decent job ensuring it is ready for use.
No floaties allowed, extremely strict rules on "dress code" no food allowed. All basic necessities to have on a hot day here in Laredo but aren't allowed in this public pool.
