Indoor and outdoor aquatic facilities with classes and other activities for all ages.
The facility features a 25-yard competition pool maintained at 80 degrees Fahrenheit (26.7°C), a leisure pool heated to 86 degrees Fahrenheit (30°C), and a hot tub typically kept at 102 degrees Fahrenheit (38.9°C).
What are people saying (AI review summary)? The pools, especially the outdoor 50m facility, are widely praised as fabulous, amazing, heated, and well-maintained. The indoor pool is also noted as nice. Locker rooms and bathrooms are clean, though some suggest they could use updating. However, significant safety concerns are raised regarding the showers, which are described as dangerously scalding and difficult to control, posing a liability risk. There are also complaints about lifeguards being lazy and unprofessional, frequently closing pools for minor reasons. Suggestions include adding a swimsuit dryer and a hot tub.
Reviews
The university has two really nice pools. An indoor 25 yard pool and and outdoor 50 meter pool. Both are exceptionally well maintained and well staffed.
Outdoor pool is fabulous. Especially on a hot sunny day. But Showers are scalding - like so scalding its dangerous. Reminds me of the lady who sued McDonalds over the hot coffee. But this is a big liability especially for seniors and little kids. The knobs are crazy sensitive - very hard to control the temperature. I hope they fix this. Also, wish they had a swimsuit dryer like most pools anywhere else. It would be money well spent at a facility this big. A hot tub would be bonus!
Outside pool is just amazing. Not many 50m facilities out there
Pools were great - indoor and outdoor. Locker rooms and bathrooms may need little updating but they are very clean.
Outdoor pool is great. Its heated. Showers are decent. Lifeguards are the laziest ever (or maybe just the managers). Look for any reason to close pool- "its windy, its 70 degrees thats too cold, the wind prevents me from seeing anything" Very unprofessional.
