What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews for this pool are mixed, highlighting both positive and negative aspects. On the positive side, many describe it as a nice, beautiful, and shaded pool set within a lush green park offering plenty of seating and a good playground. Staff are generally seen as friendly, with one exception noted. However, a significant concern raised by multiple visitors revolves around the pool's strict rules and extensive swim test required for using the diving board, which includes swimming 50 yards freestyle, treading water for a minute, and swimming a box. These requirements are frequently described as overly restrictive and a "bummer" for kids, particularly those who can swim but not freestyle, leading to frustration about limited play opportunities. Other criticisms include one report of a dirty pool (leaves, bugs, hair, plastic), water being unpleasantly warm, and a lack of close handicapped parking.

The staff seemed nice (often don't have a lot of interactions with life guards of you follow the rules), but the pool was dirty. There were leaves, bugs, hair, and plastic in the pool. Kind of a big turn off. I enjoyed the diving board...I'm undecided on it I will go back, given the cleanliness of the pool.
Nice pool and actively saw lifeguards skimming and water sampling. Love how shaded it is and the playground is nice. Very extensive swim test to be able to be allowed to go off the diving board (swim 50 yards freestyle only, tread water for a minute, swim a box). Definitely can be a bummer to some kids since so many kids can easily jump in and swim to the side with no issue.
Great pool, and the playground is nice. Kids need to do swim test to be able to be allowed to go off the diving board. Nice green park with lots of seating to watch the kids play. Very friendly staff (except for one, He should be cop instead of a lifeguard).
Beautiful pool in a lush green park with plenty of seating for lounging while watching kids play. Our grandkids love this pool. My only negative is the lack of close, handicapped parking— only parking is across the small road.
DONT COME HERE!!! Pool is pretty but the rules are seriously ridiculous… also the water is warm like bath water.. kids can’t dive or be an arms length away from their parents if they can’t swim a freestyle stroke… my 5 year old can swim like a fish but she doesn’t have any idea how to swim freestyle… also tread water for a min… why.. seems a bit much just to jump off the diving board.. also they won’t let the kids play near the latter or jump off the edge because they could get hurt… basically we all had to sit in the water and float around it was stupid going to the free pool by our house with no life gaurds at least there we can enjoy our selves and play!
