I grew up in Ravenna swimming in this pool, and I still come back to swim here every summer because it's the best pool. It is a simple rectangle but it has enough space for everyone. There is a separate baby pool that is 2 ft max. Then the big pool is 25x10yds, starting at 3ft and going to 12ft. There is a legitimate high board (12ft I think) that most other pools around here don't have, plus a regular low board. There is a low spiral slide, maybe 10 ft tall. There aren't many amenities but if you want to just swim or cool down in the summer, this is the best place in town (I would even say best in Buffalo County. The only comparable pool is Harmon in Kearney and it is always so crowded and busy you are touching 3 other ppl at all times and they don't let you just swim in the deep end) they also are good at answering the phone if you want to check prices or make sure they're open before you go. There is a pool house with a few toilets and showers and sinks but nothing fancy. And a park on the west side of the pool with a cute BNSF caboose you can climb on and swings and slide and gazebo, if you want to meet up w someone or are waiting for a ride. The hours are generally 1-5 and 6-9, with 15 min breaks every hour. They offer water walking (just exercising, no playing, and I think you have to be 18+) for $1 from 5-6. You can rent the pool for parties. Every year they host a pool Olympics for the area kids. Swimming classes for kids are held in the frigid mornings that definitely didn't scar me over 20 years ago. The staff changes every year, but generally expect the minimum and be pleasantly surprised sometimes. It's not like they're paying well. But this pool is amazing for our little community and I hope they can always find enough help to open.

They are a great pool the only reason I say 4 is because the life guards. They will let certain kids do things because there friends with that kid or something like that but other than that it’s a great pool and I totally recommend going
