Kid-friendly, relaxed recreational pool with 6 lanes and a shallow area.
The pools at the Bicentennial Outdoor Pool are generally heated to a comfortable temperature ranging between 78 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit (25.5-26.6 degrees Celsius).
What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews for the pool are mixed. Positively, the Bicentennial pool itself is highly praised for being very clean, well-maintained, and having an excellent temperature, with visitors enjoying the toddler pool and finding some staff efficient and friendly. It's also noted as being affordable. However, there are significant criticisms: one specific staff member (Carmella) was described as surprisingly rude, dismissive, and difficult to interact with, causing stress. There's also considerable disappointment about the pool closing too early for the season (August 20th). Additionally, the cleanliness of the driveway and entrance areas was criticized, and while showers had hot water, some found the pool water cold.

Carmella has been especially difficult to interact with. Given her position in customer service, I was surprised by how rude and dismissive she was during our interaction. It’s disappointing and frankly stressful to be treated in this way at a place I normally enjoy. I’m reaching out in hopes that this behavior will be addressed. I imagine I’m not the only guest who has experienced this, and I hope management takes this seriously and looks into it. I’ve always enjoyed using the pool but she can leave a really bad taste in your mouth.
My little guy had fun learning to swim. The toddler pool is great on a hot day. Reservations required. The staff were efficient and friendly.
August 20th and sign up says pool is closed for the season already!!! What a joke, this is literally the only public pool in town for my toddler to swim at. So disappointing.
Water was cold, but shower had hot water to warm us back up.
The Bicentennial pool itself is a 5 star pool. The pool is very clean, an excellent temperature and well maintained. I liked it so much I hated to get out! It is busy with a loft of regulars so you can expect to share a lane. Plenty of experienced swimmers who know how to share and actually swim. And it’s cheap! The 4 star designation is due to the less than clean driveway and entrance. I’ve swum in many municipal pools around the country and unfortunately, that’s the norm; mediocre maintenance of the facility.maybe they could raise their fees by a dollar and use the money to spiff up the grounds.
