Very nice job on the updated pool and park. It has slides and what looks like an infinite pool with the Water knowing all the way up to the edge of the concrete. They done a very good job with everything including the little area for little kids. I was simply blown away whenever I seen the update and how far they have come. It's really amazing. How much work they put into bringing this part back to life! Great job for whoever was behind all this and I look forward to seeing more in the future From all the other parks In the area.
Visited today with my family, two adults and 4 kids. One was 2 years old so she was free, so the price was $12 can’t beat it. $3 for adults, $2 for kids. The water was perfect, especially in the hot sun. It wasn’t too hot or cold, it was just right. The big waterslide was closed unfortunately so we didn’t get to try that but there were two small slides my kids were able to try. There was also a whirlpool on one side of the pool which is neat. We live near Taylor boulevard so it’s not too far and it’s just really nice to have such an amazing pool and water park for a decent price in and near this side of town for our community. It also felt safe there, security and an officer from LMPD was present nearby and all the staff were very friendly. I also appreciate how the bathrooms are located off to the side, so you don’t have to walk through them for entry. You’re able to just walk straight to the pool and walk straight to the exit. I hope I can return before the season ends, if not I’ll definitely be visiting often next summer.
The new swimming pool is beautiful I'm so excited for the AP area
I have enjoyed having a public pool with in walking distance. I wish we could have a Dome put over it for the Winter. I’m not really upset I also have Silver Sneakers so I 17th Street Y pool is my first choice. It’s why my doctor said I’m healthier than I was in my 40s
Pool was nice. Deepest is 5 ft. Bring clear bags for your things or you'll have to carry your towels, etc in. They have lockers, but you bring ur own lock. You can bring snacks as long as it's in a grocery plastic bag or clear bag. My neice & nephew had a great time. Would be nice to add more tables with shade.
