Love this family- friendly water park! Fun for kids of all ages! First thing to understand, though, is the RULES. Check their website for all rules before you go, so you know what to expect. They do not allow outside food or drinks, which sucks for us right now, because my son has a ton of food allergies and cannot eat their concession food. However, we are allowed to keep food in car and cone back after we've gotten a snack from car. They do allow you to bring an empty water bottle into the facility AND they will fill up your empty water bottle with cold water at concessions, which is so nice, especially on hot days! :) They have safety jackets for all little ones who need it, which is something else I really like. I am able to go into lazy river with my 2yo in the same tube, while my 7yo can use her own tube, which is another thing I love! I wish price was a little less expensive for kids vs. Adults, but other than that, this place is great! ***Edit- one of the staff members reached out to me and told me that I could actually bring snacks for my allergy kid, but I had to tell the front desk upon entry. :) my son was so happy!!!
My family really enjoyed our day here! We got there at open, and it wasn't too crowded. Come 1:00 it was packed! I think some of the life guards are paid per whistle blow. The consession area is very small, and there was quite a wait for just a drink. My only complaint was SO many tubes were laying around popped and after a certain point you literally couldn't find a tube for anything. I would have enjoyed more lazy river time. All in all, would recommend this cute little spot for a family fun day!
Super fun, family friendly water park. You can't bring food or drinks in, but there is concession with decent food and snacks in a shaded area. There are 4 different types of water slides, a lazy river, a small pool, a kiddie pool, and a big boat for small kids to play on with water shooting everywhere. Kids love it! Lifeguards were vigilant, and on point. The only thing I feel like they're missing is a deeper pool for laps or maybe even a diving board.
This place is perfect for younger kids !! Inexpensive. Lots of seating available, but unfortunately towels sit there all day without people attending them. It would be nice to implement a rule that towels DO NOT SAVE YOUR SEAT, as in Cruises do.
There's an opportunity to take the following constructive criticism for what it is. First impressions are lasting. This is by far the rudest bunch of life guards I've met. The lockers (25 cents per usage) are tricky with little instructions; many were filled with personal belongings yet not properly locked *use at your own risk. Upon walking in for the first time ever, there's no clock on the walls anywhere; suggest installing one near the First Aid Station along with pool out brake times. Update your website with that info too. Or better yet don't close the pool (unless for emergency cleaning) and have staff rotate their own breaks so paying guest can actually enjoy what they paid full price for. Whistles easily get drowned out with the constant noises from water splashing, kids screaming and overhead music; sensory overload is overwhelming, especially for those with hearing problems. Embarrassingly yelling at guest without understanding why sense there's no warning on the website either; does not create a welcoming atmosphere. Giving the benefit of the doubt, there may have been an unheard PA announcement while at the ticket booth paying for out of state pricing. Maybe invest in some water proof walkie-talkies and station someone in the FirstAid Station, at all times, to make overhead announcements as needed for guests to actually hear when there's issues. Reconsider a discount after a certain time (last 2 or 3 hours at half price would boost sales). The multiple slides are fun yet the lines were completely chaotic with the lifeguards doing more talking amongst each other versus crowd control. Suggest using color-coordinating duct-tape to show guest exactly where to stand for which colored slide, will create less fights over line cutting.
