About

Public swimming pool that some reviews say is clean and not crowded.

Specific and consistently advertised pool temperatures for Scripps Park Pool (Rushville Family Aquatic Center) are generally not publicly available. As an outdoor community aquatic facility, the water temperature primarily fluctuates with ambient weather conditions and is typically not heated to a specific, maintained degree.

What are people saying (AI review summary)? The pool generally receives positive feedback for being great, clean, and a good value, especially for a small town. However, several reviews highlight areas for improvement, including the need for off-season upkeep, inconsistent operation of amenities like the slide (which reportedly worked for private events but not for general public on multiple occasions), and inconvenient closures due to low attendance. There are mixed opinions on the staff; while one reviewer praised their professionalism and the pool's cleanliness, others criticized some young staff members for a lack of professional behavior and poor cleanliness in bathrooms and work areas.

The pool is great but the kids working need a few lessons in professional behavior and keeping things clean. The bathrooms and their work area was a disgrace no reason for a nice place to be dirty and trashy

I thought I would get irritated with the young staff. But they actually were very professional. The pool wasn't crowded in the water was so clean I heard good things but I never imagined it would be this nice thanks

Pool was great! Price was great! However, first day we were there slide worked fine. Next day, broke. Third day, broke. Fourth day, was told it was broke, but when the pool closed for a private event, the slide was miraculously healed and started working for the private event as soon as we got in our car to leave. Hmmm

Great pool for such a small town. Nothing big, but they probably need to do a little upkeep this off-season.
