Despite some of its benefits, this Holiday Inn Express location suffers from a lack of cleanliness. It does not appear the stairwell has been vacuumed, let alone deep cleaned, in years. The room itself was cramped and did not even pass a surface level of clean—there were hairs on the bathtub and obvious dirt on the floor. The rooms received a half renovation, but for some reason, retained the old and incredibly tiny toilet, while the carpet also appeared to be aged (or perhaps just incredibly dirty). The room was not a pleasant place to spend time. Thankfully, the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was great, the front desk staff were nice, and the pool is perfect for younger kids who aren’t quite ready for the big slides of area resorts. But the hotel is showing its age and there is a major lack of attention to detail. You can find a better place to stay in the Dells.

The family and I had such a wonderful stay here. The room was clean, service was very friendly and the pool area was a huge hit with the kids. The outdoor pool is colder than the indoor one, so we didn't use it much, at all. But, the indoor pools definitely make up for it. We really enjoyed the slide, basketball hoop and the hot tub. Breakfasts for surprisingly good, as well. During our week stay, though, the best part of staying here was the location. It's close to just about everything, but off the highway, so the traffic isn't as busy. And there are a lot of really good food and entertainment options all within 5-10 mins. I'd definitely recommend this place and we'll stay here again, when we return.

We have been loyal IHG members for years and have stayed at their luxury resorts as well as plenty of Holiday Inn Express’s for shorter stays. This hotel is by far the most disgusting Holiday Inn Express we have stayed at. Our room was filthy. It hadn’t been vacuumed in a very long time, the floors were not washed, and there was a layer of dust on all the baseboards. I ended up cleaning the bathroom floor myself before allowing my kids to use it. The cushions in the breakfast area were stained and torn. Walking in the halls, I could smell marijuana. Needless to say, we won’t be back. The one positive is the pool. Our kids really enjoyed themselves.

Great Holiday Inn located at a convenient location in Wisconsin Dells. It is located just minutes from all the main attractions and has adequate parking. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms were average size and pretty well kept. The hotel has a large indoor pool and large outdoor pool with plenty of seating at both. The pool indoor and outdoor pool areas had kiddie pools as well to accommodate small children. The pool areas were kept clean and tidy with plenty of towels available. Pools also had a basket ball hoop and water slides. The hotel lobby was spacious and they offer coffee around the clock for guests. The only complaint was that at times throughout the night it was noisy. I know the hotel was sold out during our visit, so that maybe why it was loud. However overall it was a pleasant stay.

Having rainy days during the summer is no problem when your hotel room has its own indoor water slides and activities. There is a pool for younger kids and a larger pool with a curving slide, basketball hoop, and a hot tub. The outdoor pool also has two areas, one for smaller kids and one for everyone else. The free breakfast had great options and the location was only 10 minutes away from SO many things to do, like Kalahari water park, laser shows, restaurants, etc. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable.
