About

Local facility for indoor recreation such as swimming and water exercises.

Specific daily pool temperatures for the Oregon Community Pool are not consistently published on their official platforms. However, community pools of this type generally maintain water temperatures for recreational swimming in a comfortable range, often around 80-82°F (26-28°C), though this can vary based on conditions and specific pool areas (e.g., cooler for lap lanes). Guests seeking precise temperature information are encouraged to contact the facility directly.

What are people saying (AI review summary)? This swimming facility is highly regarded for its value, cleanliness, and friendly atmosphere. The water exercise program is a particular highlight, offering an affordable ($25 for 20 hours or $2 per class) full-body workout suitable for all, especially popular among elderly women, and includes access to a hot tub. The staff are noted for being friendly and helpful, providing tours and assistance. The locker rooms, showers, and pool are consistently clean, and the pool temperature is well-maintained for comfort. The facility, despite being 30+ years old, is in great condition and very inviting, accommodating many people for various activities including family swim and swim lessons. It features a 6-lane meter pool with a single springboard, suitable for lap and community swimming, though some reviewers suggested improvements like a bulkhead for easier time conversions and officiating. Parking is generally good, but lighting can be limited in some areas late at night. There's ample seating by the pool (though seat backs are recommended for comfort) and a welcome area. Note that shoes are not permitted in the pool area.

Water exercise is the best deal in town. $25 for 20 hours of exercise in the pool. Workout is designed to move all parts of your body following an instructor on the deck. Majority of participants are elderly women with most joining in while others socialize. On a good day there could be 8-10 men but typically just 5-7. The hot tub is a great way to end the hour.

Friendly staff gave us a quick tour since it was our first time there. Locker room, showers and pool all very clean. Family swim was fun, had the pool to ourselves for a while. Very relaxing. Pool is perfect temperature, not so hot you feel like you are in a bath, but also not so cold you are shivering.

Had the opportunity to officiate a high school swim meet at the pool. Parking was good. Lots of lots however late at night lighting is limited in some areas. Made it tough to walk and stay on the sidewalk. Welcome area had seating and information. Staff were prompt and made sure I found my way to the pool entry. Plenty of seating on one side of the pool. Being a seat back if you way to save your back on the metal bleachers. 6 lane meter pool with entry only on one side due to the very shallow turn end. A single 1 meter spring board was available but neither team had a diver. Not the best setup for officials. Standing on the far side meant you were on the far side of the diving well. Too far to really be effective. But it worked. Great for lap swimming. Great for community swimming. They could get a bulkhead and shorten to 25yrds. Would make it easier for time conversions. And bulkhead along the diving wall would make officiating easier. For a 30+ year old facility it is in great shape and very inviting.

This swimming pool is a very nice location. Large enough to accommodate many people in the pool. The pool also has swim lessons which a family member was enrolled in. There are bleacher for family members not swimming so they are able to watch their siblings swim. But remember you are not allowed to wear your shoes in the pool area.

Went for the first time on my birthday for a new experience. I had to take a detour to get there but that's ok I found new ways around Oregon. I went for swim exercises. You can sign up for a membership or pay 2$ at the door for the class. Lots of sweet ladies in th class helped me navigate around as I was a fish out of water in this experience. The class was fun. Lots of people know how th exercise routine and got a little lost at some points. I did get help from the instructor on which floating dumbbells I should use. It was really fun and it was definitely a full body workout.
