Open swim sessions are generally not too busy, accommodating a mix of children and older adults, with additional programs like aqua aerobics and 'Wib-it' times. Swimming lessons are available and are valued for their convenience and ability to engage children. However, some parents expressed concerns about frequent instructor rotation and insufficient observation or instruction, especially when multiple levels shared an instructor, though one instructor, Pat, was noted for her effectiveness. Overall, the facility is considered a great community asset, promoting health benefits through swimming.

Basic six lane, 25 yard pool. Locker rooms are recently renovated. Open swim wasn’t too busy with a mix of kids and older adults. There are also aqua aerobics classes and and times when the Wib-it is put in the pool. Small entry fee.
My child had at least three different instructors for the six classes in this session. On three of those days, levels 4, 5, & 6 shared one instructor. The instructor barely observed and never really instructed my child.
Swin lessons were hit and miss. Teachers rotated too much and Pat was the only person to really get through to my kids because she made sure they did things correctly.
We love how swimming lessons are offered here! It's close by and they do a nice job with the kids.
Great asset to the community. Every high school should have one and program it to extend the health benefits of swimming.
