First time there had a blast. They have several slides, 2 lazy rivers but 1 for kids & a lot more. Was visiting from SA TX had family in Cadiz.

Venture River has been a staple for many of my summers since my childhood. I think my first visit was about 1995. The staff is, for the most part, helpful. Lifeguards pay attention and rotate often. They have a variety of slides for all ages. Their concession stand offers freshly cooked meals and lots of options. The property is well kept and super cute to match the water park theme. They have more lounge chairs in 2025 but offer little shade. Rent a cabana for guaranteed shade which comes with two chairs, and lockbox. No coolers to make your own sandwiches allowed though which was a huge disappointment because we've done it many times in the past. We did use their pavilion located outside the park to gather and eat lunch. Just inconvenient for those with mobility issues. If you pay more for the higher price cabana things I think you can do sandwiches lol idk. For the price and attractions, I totally recommend adding this to your summer to do list!

Wonderful weather. Very clean and maintained. We didn't have small children, but if you did there was eyes on them at every ride. I watched the lifeguards and they had eyes on them. They switched places every hour or so to get refreshed on a new environment. Wonderful day for a water park visit.

I love how most of the attractions were close together. The food selection was nice. The food itself was pretty good. They advertise street tacos but I didn’t actually see them on the menu. Family (all ages) had tons of fun here. Would probably rent a cabana next time, as seating was hard to come by.

Venture River is a very fun and friendly place to go no matter what age you are. Lots of water slides for all ages, lazy river and wave pool. And the cost is very reasonable as well. You can also bring in small coolers with water and pre-packaged snacks. Most places don't let you do that. They also have good food options at the park that don't cost an arm and a leg. I've been coming here for 20 years, since my boys were young, and I now come by myself for a day of relaxing for me or bring my nieces and nephews with me. I love Venture River!!!
