Indoor facility with a full-size pool, 2 spiral water slides, and a rock-climbing wall.

What are people saying (AI review summary)? Eyster Pool generally receives positive feedback, primarily for its cleanliness and friendly, courteous, and patient staff. It features a 50-meter indoor lap pool, and amenities like a rock climbing wall, two spiral water slides (plus a small one for toddlers). The facility offers various classes for all ages, from babies to adults, including water fitness and homeschool swim classes, with instructors being highly encouraging. Many appreciate its availability for families, especially given MWR funding cuts, and note the benefit of free access for aquatic physical therapy patients during designated hours. While some find the $2 hourly fee reasonable, one review expresses disappointment about having to pay for the pool, especially if it's an $8 fee, suggesting a desire for additional amenities like a hot tub and sauna to justify the cost.
Reviews
The facility is clean, and the staff are courteous and friendly. The pool is 50 meters (or 55 yards) long, requiring ten laps for a 1000-meter swim.
Very friendly staff, clean lockerrooms, clean pool. The pool area has a rock climbing wall and two spiral water slides. They can pull out a tiny slide for the younger kids. They are currently doing a early Tuesday mornings water fitness board balancing class. They also have a normal water fitness class at 5:30 on Tuesdays.
We love Eyster Pool! Through the winter we were there twice a week. The staff has always been friendly. With so much funding cut for MWR facilities, having this pool available for our family has been fantastic! They offer classes for all ages from babies to adults and have added two water slides in the last year. Our kids have gained so much confidence through the homeschool swim class. The instructors have all been very patient and encouraging with our kids.
Good 50 meter indoor lap pool. Spent $2 for an hour, and I think it was worth it. If you're in an Aquatics physical therapy program, you can get in for free during designated hours with a letter from your PT doc.
Not good, not bad. They have specific hours for PT and open swim which is cool, I wish they have like a hot tub and sauna that'd be almost worth the fee. It's kind a bummer though you have to pay to use. I mean MWR has free movies at theater but you have to pay like $8 to swim? Makes no sence.
