Public pool with slides, a diving board, and a splash pad, plus a concession stand.
As a public outdoor swimming facility, specific pool temperatures are generally not published. The temperature of the pool(s) typically varies based on ambient weather conditions and the pool is not heated to a fixed temperature.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? The outdoor pool generally receives positive feedback for its nice, clean facilities, which include slides, a diving board, and a rock climbing wall. Lifeguards are highly praised for their attentiveness and exceptional service, even assisting with a child's meltdown. While the concession stand offers great prices, it is frequently sold out of items. Common complaints include discrepancies in advertised closing times, with swimming ending at 6:45 PM instead of 7 PM, and the concession stand closing earlier at 6 PM. A significant issue for some families is the policy against 'puddle jumpers,' which is considered a deal-breaker for parents who prefer them for toddler safety. The pool charges a $3 admission fee from 1 PM to 7 PM and is closed on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Nice outdoor pool. 3$ admission 1pm - 7pm Closed: Wednesday and Thursday
The pool itself is nice enough. We like that there are slides, a diving board, and even a rock climbing wall. The concession stand has great prices but was sold out of almost everything so I took a star off for that. There were 2 exceptional lifeguards. My 7 year old son is autistic and both girls were so understanding. He had a major melt down when it was time to go home and one of them asked me if she could help de-escalate the situation and she did amazing. I wish I caught her name!
They don't actually close at 7pm. As in, you can't swim until 7pm. Everyone is told to get out of the pool at 6:45pm and leave prior to 7pm. They close at 6:50pm. Also, their concession stand closes at 6pm.
Nice clean pools with attentive lifeguards. My only gripe is that they don't allow puddle jumpers in the pool and because of that, I will not return. My toddler is much safer in a puddle jumper over a life jacket. The puddle jumper keeps his head above water and his feet under water unlike a vest. Both are coast guard approved. I cannot think of one reason why it would not be allowed.
The water slide was a really nice addition to the pool. When our grandchildren visit for the summer we enroll them in the swimming program Last time I swam in the pool was way back in the 1960's before this new one was built. It is in a very nice location.
