Indoor sports venue for basketball games and swim contests, plus a gym.
The Kress Events Center's aquatic facility includes a competition pool and a leisure pool. Both pools are typically heated to approximately 80 degrees Fahrenheit (26.7 degrees Celsius).
What are people saying (AI review summary)? The reviews offer a mixed perspective on several venues. Positive feedback includes an 'awesome aquatic center,' a 'nice building' with a 'great court' for games, a 'nice gym,' 'nice and close seats,' and 'affordable prices.' However, significant criticisms emerged regarding food services (limited item availability and credit card acceptance issues), a lack of onsite ATMs, and confusing parking. Some design flaws were noted, such as a glass wall separating the pool deck from bleachers, which impairs the auditory experience of swim meets, and an inconveniently severed oval layout in one facility. There's also concern that one venue is 'starting to show its age' and its ability to maintain modern amenities and services.

Very good game green bay couldn't score food ordering sucked hit dogs were gone and nachos were gone
Awesome aquatic center. However, the pool deck is separated from the bleachers by a plate glass and steel wall. Cannot hear anything related to pool noise, which is a huge part of the swim meet experience. A bit like watching a silent movie........ Very strange.
Not horrible venue, but there are things here that make me wonder. No ATM onsite. Confusing parking (one week you can take one road, the next, it's closed). Onsite food and drink appear to have issues with credit card acceptance. In x2 of my last 5 visits, the Kress could not allow credit/debit cards for food purchase. With no ATM and my children in tow...this makes an extremely long visit with cranky kids. The Center is an oval, but one side of the oval is severed due to the band section. You can still get around that by leaving and re-entering, but still less than optimal. Good things, are the seats are pretty nice and close regardless of where you sit. The prices are affordable (granted you're able to purchase). I am an alumnus and during my time at UWGB, the Kress was pretty fancy, it's starting to show its age at this point. I'm concerned over the Center's ability to keep up-to-date if they cannot get a credit card machine to work nor understand that you absolutely need an ATM (my God, has no one ever addressed this!? How's that possible?).
Pretty interesting building. Very spacious with lots of different wings and rooms. Great court to watch the Phoenix play ball. Nice gym with climbing wall, racquet ball courts in the basement. Adequate cafe with plenty of munchies. Wish I could have been here in the summer to see the waterfall fountain in the court yard. Overall nice building.
