What are people saying (AI review summary)? The reviews cover two main attractions: a Summer Fest and a local pool. The Summer Fest received overwhelmingly positive feedback, with patrons praising the M&J midways, a variety of good food like popcorn and funnel cakes, and the overall enjoyable atmosphere. Reviews for the pool, however, are highly mixed. Many positive comments highlight its affordability (often $3 admission, with free entry for young children), the convenience of being able to bring outside food and drinks, and a variety of attractions. These include multiple water slides, a popular pirate ship with squirting cannons (especially for the baby area), and a lily pad/climbing wall area. Conversely, significant negative points were raised, particularly regarding the pool. These include a lack of convenient parking, the absence of concessions directly at the pool, overcrowding, and a major design flaw concerning a perceived lack of suitable swimming areas for children who are not babies (splash pad) or strong swimmers (deep main pool with no shallow end). One reviewer found the pool expensive compared to others, criticized its 'tiny' size, and expressed frustration with the overall design and management. Minor complaints included bathrooms needing to be cleaner. Despite the criticisms, many families still found it a fun place to cool off.

Summer fest was great. Midways by M&J did not disappoint. Popcorn, cotton candy, caramel apples, funnel cakes. Very good. Great folks.

Best pool around, imo. It's so cheap to get in & you can bring your own food & drinks. The pool area is nice. Pirate ship & lily pad/climbing wall area is neat. Nice slides too. Love it.

My family and I loved everything they have to offer. Multiple water slides, rock climbing and more. The baby area was fantastic too, especially the pirate ship with squirting water cannons. My kids would've stayed here all day if I let them!

it was nice that it was only $3 for everyone and 2 and under are free. They have 3 big water slides 2 smaller ones that drop into the water a lily pad climbing area and a toddler splash pad area and of course the pool area which is not very big. The bathrooms could've been cleaner bit overall it was a vood place to have fun and cool off.

If I could give negative stars I would. Worst pool experience we've ever had. First, there was no parking at all....had to walk up hill from a residential area where we parked to the actual pool. There we found no concessions at the pool itself but at the foot of the hill there was one for the ball field. No shade, crowded pool sides and the worst part? NO PLACE for children of a certain age/height to swim!!!!! There was the main pool where the average woman(5 ft 5 in.)couldn't even touch bottom and then the splash pad with 6 in. of water. No shallow end to the pool at all for children who weren't babies or teenagers to swim and play safely. Oh, but they had lifejackets available, don't you know? What kid wants to wear a lifejacket in a swimming pool????? And, it was more expensive than other pools in surrounding counties. So, we paid more, didn't get to park near the pool, got mouthed at for parking on the city streets, found all the back streets out of there had speed bumps every 10 yds, little kids had no place to swim and the pool itself is TINY. Who in their right mind would recommend this place, let alone ever go there again? This town should be ashamed of themselves for how they designed this pool....must have been on meth when they did so.
