What are people saying (AI review summary)? The community pool is generally well-regarded for its fun atmosphere, nice layout, and features like slides for kids, with some users praising it as clean, secure, and a great place to spend a summer day with reasonably priced snacks and comfy loungers. The pool director received specific commendation for kindness. However, there are significant negative points, primarily concerning the staff and lifeguards, who are frequently described as rude, mean, harsh with children, and appearing generally disgruntled or annoyed. Another major issue is the strict 'no life jacket' policy, which causes concern for parents of non-swimming children. There were also mentions of wasps around the pool area.

A great little community pool. Plenty of space for the little ones. Something needs to be done about all the wasps around the pool. The lifeguards are mean and rude. I've never seen an entire staff of people so disgruntled. Every interaction I had with the staff or that I witnessed, they all had a look of complete annoyance with the loan exception being the older gentleman lifeguard. I've never seen so many people with "rbf".
It has a nice layout and is a lot of fun BUT they do not allow life jackets and the life guards are pretty rude. I understand that the rules need to be followed but they were quite harsh with the kids to the point that they wanted to leave because of it. Every pool has a unique set of rules so they were doing stuff that is allowed in other pools but not in this pool. Once again, that would be fine but the staff were just so mean about it all! The no life jacket rule made me so nervous because my older ones can swim yet I still want to keep an eye on them. However, it was tough to do because my youngest can not swim at all. Life jackets just help.
What a great place to spend a summer day. The pool was perfect. Kids loved all the slides. Lifeguards were attentive. The snacks were reasonably priced. And the loungers were comfy. Perfect summer experience.
The pool directed is so very kind I had so much fun volunteering to clean the pool for the city of Eldora and the pool director was the icing on the cake just a joy to work with
A very clean and secure pool, has great staff and great for meeting new people.
