What are people saying (AI review summary)? This newly built small-town pool offers good amenities including a large spiral water slide, a diving board, zero-depth entry with splash slides for toddlers, concessions, and showers. It is generally praised for being clean, well-run, and enjoyable for children. However, several negative experiences have been reported, including inaccurate posted hours (leading to wasted travel and denied entry shortly before closing), incorrect admission price information, and a strict swimsuit policy that does not allow shorts, forcing some visitors to go elsewhere. There were also instances of poor customer service, such as staff gossiping about patrons and being unhelpful regarding a small monetary difference in admission fees.

Their posted hours are wrong they are NOT OPEN UNTIL 6pm on Saturday only till 5pm. This cost us half hour drive and a very upset child. Their excuse is sorry we will update it! It’s the end of summer do you think it’s a little late for that! They wouldn’t let her take a dip even thought there was 15 mins until close time.
We had heard good things about this pool and their staff and decided to drive half an hour with our family of five to swim. Upon arrival we found that the admission was $4 and not the $3 we had understood the admission to be. Bad information but thought we had needed $15 and only had $19. We were $1 short of our family being admitted. With gas prices what they are we were not happy we had to drive the hour round trip back home to grab the dollar. I would not even be leaving a review except for the fact that I overheard the staff at the desk talking about it just now as I stepped outside to my car to put my children's glasses (optical) in the car. I feel so slighterd over $1.
Newly built small town pool with nice amenities. There is a large spiral water slide. (48in min height to ride), diving board with deep swimming area. Zero depth entry for toddlers with small splash slides and water fountain. Concessions and showers available. Pool is $3 for adults and $1.5 for children daily. Surrounded by the city park with plenty of picnic area and playgrounds to take a break.
We had a great time with our grandchildren at the Traer Pool. Kids loved it. Very clean and well run. Grandkids are already asking when they can go back!
This place has a nice pool and all but they absolutely will not let you in unless you have a swimsuit on they make no exceptions for shorts or nothing so I had to go to the reinbeck pool instead
